Avatar of Justice
I have a funny problem some of you may have run into. Basically, I just bought a computer case from a friend of mine. The spots where the CD-ROM drive is supposed to go is completely empty and the case didn't come with the original fillers when he bought it. I've ran into this problem with my own cases, but I've always had enough spare CD-ROM drives to fill everything up. Not so anymore. Also, it only came with one PCI slot cover. Once again, I've ran into this situation with my own machine, and I always just stick old network cards and such to fill all the spots up to keep dust from getting in. But now, I just don't have all this extra hardware to use as covers. Anybody know what I can do about it?
Mouser X
This doesn't exactly answer your question, but I've been running my computer without the case on it for more than a year... In other words, Who needs covers? Actually though, the problem is that not all of my components fit into the case. There's just simply not enough room in there for everything. Even so, if the reason you're covering everything up is to keep out dust, I don't think you have much to worry about. If it's for asthetic purposes, then that's a different matter. Sorry to not have answered your question very well, but in your situation, I would have just left it as is... Sorry to be of no help. Mouser X out. Mouser X out. Yeah, not helpful at all. Having huge gaping holes in the case is just dumb, especially when I'll be carrying this computer back and forth between my dorm and home.
