Zelda: OoT - Deku Tree rock remix

Here it is

It's very much a work-in-progress--probably about 20% done. (Not necessarily speaking of length.)

Any negative or positive criticism welcome, of course. Hope y'all enjoy. I'm still working on ideas for what direction to take it next.

Aside from some sound quality things, this sounds pretty cool so far.

I like it. Definitely better than a lot of the rock mixes out there. Of course, it could use some touching up (and finishing...). When it comes to rock, I typically feel that a slow tempo like this just drags the song along, so if it was me (which it's not...you do what you want...), I'd jump up the tempo a bit later on in the song and bring in a newish melody or some squealing guitar solos or something awesome like that.

Theory of Nonexistence: Yeah, I had that thought about the tempo, but it will get more intense, trust me. =)

The kick drum clips pretty much throughout, especially at the beginning and the part with the bass and kick around 0:41. It just sort of messes with the clarity of the drums and the guitars throughout, makes it sound overly distorted.

Very Good Start. I'm a big fan of rock remixes and this one is well performed for how much is done. Can't wait for the end result. Keep it up!

like Radiowar said, definitely something has to be done about the kick drum, but I absolutely love the guitar. The sound you get from it is always the kind of tone I'm looking for. Definitely looking forward to your progress on this.
