The Mac Attack
Sorry if this a silly question. I have only ever used Cakewalk Home Studio 9 in the past, and it's served me well up until now. Yet seeing as I now have money, I've been looking around for other products on the market, and have been considering FL Studio. What I particularly like about Cakewalk is how I can draw the MIDI notes onto a musical staff, as I'm a bit more on the traditional composing side. Nothing I've read/seen about FL Studio so far though indicates it has such a feature. Am I mistaken, or is there not much beyond the piano roll? Lunahorum
nothing beyond piano roll. Music staff is limited IMO though. Just take some notes in a journal while you work on the song like Maj7 here minadd9 here ect so you don't screw up on accident. Or you could compose a song in finale or sibelious or something like that. I don't know though, I really prefer to start straight off the piano roll. The Mac Attack
Darn, well that's unfortunately a deal breaker. I'm aware of it's limitations, but I prefer to get most of the work done on the staff as that's how I was taught. Thanks max97230.
