it's well known that Dutch people are amazingly good at English, that's almost your second official language.Did you tell him it's "Unleash"?Totally schooled on English by a Dutch guy.
Happens almost daily. It's sad that a foreigner speaks better English than an American.
It might be even sadder if I added that my English is on par with or better than my Dutch half the time.

it's been a long time, he was a shy noob and now look at him, experienced judge that always does nice works.
listening to this remix it's clear that was produced by a master (even at his earlier works).
interesting arrangements on a very simple theme, I never guessed that tune can be played in this way. sure, unexpected orchestra!
on the other side, this song is a bit too long and may become a bit boring if you don't like orchestral stuff. perhaps I'm biased (e.g. I seldom listen to anything below 200bpm), but these are my two cents.
so:
27/30 on tech stuff (-3 for some background noise and random minor issues)
13/30 on happiness.
that's mean this song is a nice 20/30 for me.

it's a non-standard type of VBR, which doesn't save time informations in the file header. also, not all softwares (e.g. older ones) can read VBR files, so you should feel lucky to hear it even if it has wrong timings.I believe a special type of MP3 encoding was used. Notice how the song is over 6 minutes, but it sounds AMAZING despite the fact that it's under 6MB and encoded at less than 100kbps? I don't know for sure what Disco Dan did, but whatever it was, it sounds great, and I'll bet that the algorithm is what's giving certain players some trouble with the song. -

NEW UPDATE! - No more posting of WIPs publically. Only send them to me, KFC, and anyone currently on the project. No non-project people should be hearing the music past this point.
Also, if you're done, DO NOT POST THE FINAL SONG HERE! Do not post it anywhere else online! Keep it a secret till the project is done! If we find that you've been spreading your song around the net, you will be canned!
I think someone should fix this in the first post. it's pretty ambiguous.Now, just like before, there is strict quality control for this project. Post all works in progress here, but NO completed work. If you think something is completed, send it to either me or KFC for evluation. -
I love this remix. I can't stop listening to it.
the music is nice (althought nothing special), but vocal work is MARVELLOUS (yes, in capitals!).
that girl come out from a dream or something similar.
her voice is so nice and sweet...
btw, back to music. everything is well orchestrated here. no instruments are played at random, and I like also the key change, there's nothing wrong with it.
surely a professional product.

it's very similar to the original, with some improovements here and there.
long remix, it might get boring after a while.
not too bad, but this tune can gave birth to better remixes.

That's why I'm posting here (I'm not a remixer)! But no one said anything negative. In fact, I like that this mix creates a different mood from the original.Btw, as djp said in the guidelines, a ReMix means that you should actually do something different on a tune. Otherwise, ReMixers can take .gym files and do straight conversions saying that they are "remixes". I think Ichi's interpretation is very well done and it still has the original melody in it.

your song is really nice. and I can easily recognize the original tune. maybe that's because I actually played a lot with S3&K while other people here don't
. there aren't wrong notes here, the melody is pretty clear, as well as the chord progression. that's definitely Balloon Park.nice job, man!
