im hoping to have mine done in time, im updating my portfolio so i have been really busy. i have the pencil done, i havent decided how im going to color it yet. i usually have 3 diff methods
1: do the whole thing in illustrator
2: Pencil in shading, add color using multiply filter, add color shadding with color pencil
3: use my tablet that i recently fell in love with.

Yeah, try coming in first place every race when playing 150cc. You can't really try, you just have to hope.
Besides, I wasn't saying that I want to come in first all the time.
Did it 3 times last night. Just need to do it one more time to get Daisy!

I dont know, maybe every one is looking into this too much. Maybe we view games differently now then we did 10 years ago because we we 10 years younger. We viewed things different. Think about how many games you play in a 10 year span. With having experienced so much it gets harder finding something new or something that sucks you in. Games like Zelda MArio and even Final Fantasy kinda help take you back to those good times because you fell in love with them 10 years ago.
I dont know, just how i see it some times. Makes me think of when i was 19 and going to Clubs was the greatest thing and each new club was awesome. Now almost 25, i can barely stand clubs and i would prefer just a nice bar to have fun in.
Then again maybe im talking out of my ass, but i have 10 min left at work and i dont feel like starting a new design.

What? I haven't heard any confirmation of an actual KH3 yet. If you have a link, I'd really appreciate it.
I am sure you have seen these but from i hear this is suppose to be for KH3....but i could be wrong

This is terrible logic for throwing away the 360. Of course if you really think you'll like the PS3 more, than go ahead. I'm certainly in love with my PSP, so my confidence in Sony has been restored. Of course, it DID take a good few years before I'd come to the point of buying a PSP, and the PS3 just came out... >.>;
That being said, there's plenty more than just FPSes on the 360, you want RPGs? Plenty are coming out like Infinite Undiscovery, Last Remnant, Star Ocean 4, Tales of Vesperia, and Fable 2(not my cup of tea, just throwing it out there) not to mention the ones like Mass Effect, Eternal Sonata, Blue Dragon and Oblivion.
But hey, if you want that PS3, then you'll get Final Fantasy XIII and Versus XIII, Kingdom hearts 3, Disgaea 3, and... I dunno what else.
Note: I'm just mentioning RPGs since you seem to like Lost Odyssey.
I might give up my 360 though as well, although it's for cargo reasons. A 360 isn't really that portable...
True on all accounts, i do play like to play RPGs when i have time, though thats very rare.
I have not decided exactly what im doing yet, my Birthday is a Few months away so i just might wait till then and get a PS3. So maybe i will hold off, thanks for the info.

My brother just traded in his 360 for a PS3 and loves it. I might do the same. The only games i play on 360 are COD4 and Fifa and both are also for PS3. And since im Not a huge fan of FPS and i despise Halo3, i dont think i am going to miss much other than Lost Odyssey.

I for one hope this project doesn't fail. In my opinion i think VOTL was a big let down, but thats just because im not a huge Trance fan. Best of luck though ill be looking forward to it!
Oh, not to diss the cover art, but as some one in the design feild, i could prob tell you that took him, or anyone, maybe 10.5 secs to make.

Everyone does. Mostly because his Over-B is incredibly annoying. Not because of what it does, 'cause it's fairly easy to avoid and not all that scary. But his goddamn voice for that.
Well, that's my reason at least.
lol damn, i like PIT. I also just unlocked everyone and havent been online yet. Ill enter my friend code soon. This might be a stupid question to some but where do you find your friend code? I never used it before.

Most of us have been playing games most our lives. That being said i cant remember the last time i played an original game that blew me away. Not saying there is no good games, I Loved Prime 3 and Zelda:TP and i think Mario Galaxy and Brawl are really fun and addicting games. For 360 i basically only Play COD4, Fifa 08 and im trying to get back into Eternal Sonata. But other that Eternal Sonata, each one of those games are not original. Square needs to come up with a new original game other than Final Fantasy. Or put some more time and effort in making good sequels to there other games(Ex:Mana,Chrono Trigger) Nintendo needs to do the same.
Also, a lot of the bigs games now are FPS. Other than COD4, i dont really play them and i Despise Halo 3 to no end.
Thats just my opinion, but i also dont own or played alot of games for my 360 that seem to be quite popular.

Sounds like fun, i am not on alot but when i am its usually COD4. Ill look up and set up the Wii Channel as we get closer to brawl. Looking forward to playing!

I felt this way for a while. It was weird for me. I did not have time for a while, then i played WoW for about a year when i realized this game is a huge waste of time.
Then i graduated from college and purchased a Wii. When i found the time, Matroid Prime 3 kept me quite busy and Strikers was addicting Online. My friends then pressured me into buying a 360, a decision until recently i regretted. Halo 3 was a huge let down. Its Halo2 with a few new stuff. But thanks to Call Of Duty 4 i use my 360 alot more and i play online with my friends alot. I also got back into FFXII, and play it when i am at my parents house on the weekends.
The newest DBZ game for Wii is def fun, but i have boycotted all other Wii games till i finally finish Twilight Princess. A game i think is amazing but always get side tracked with other games.
I played Hellgate:London a few months back but every area is the same and the Wii & 360 games are just more fun right now.

normally i would agree with you on this 100%. but i feel because there is so much mystery behind it, if done right they could really make a good sequel that would further expand the mystery and keep you guessing at the end what the hell is going on.

This is something I was talking about with a friend the other day.
A lot of American hit movies or TV shows are considered good by perhaps the majority of people, but there is always a distinct group which disagrees and explains why it is T3H SUCKZ.
With the top quality anime we don't get that. I have never heard someone call Trigun or Cowboy Bebop a bad anime. With stuff like DBZ or Inuyasha, people will enjoy it as light action, but no one will claim it as a masterpiece. But with the heavy stuff, like the ones I mentioned or Akira, I think there is pretty much universal agreement on their quality.

You will never hear anyone say DBZ is a master piece because they know that everyone in the Animation Community with throw rotten fruit at them. DBZ had a nice concept, but as a actual Animation it was terrible. I know there are alot of DBZ DIE HARD fans, and im not saying your wrong for being one. But Pannning back and fourth with the occasional close up of their eyes and watching someone charge up for 2 episodes and when they do fight its usaually a blur with the same repetitive moves for 3 more episodes only to have them blasted away on the last one, is hardly an animation master piece. An yes, that is what DBZ is, it is extremely limited animation. For some, the art and story and watching them transform is what they really love and thats fine if thats what you want. Plus the fighting games are really fun.
Truth is MOST anime is like that. Alot of fight scenes are a character holding his sword, then a shot of him holding it up(alot of anime dont even animate the slash) and lots of flashes and everyone is apparently on the ground from the attack. Anime has its masterpieces, Akira, Steamboy, Spirited Away, CAstle In The Sky, Grave of the fireflies, ect. These are fully animated pieces that stand out from traditional anime. Anime Shines Most for its ART and STORY lines. However i have seen some advances in the animation with some shows and would like to see more of it.

The anime I watch isn't like that at all, so I don't really know what you are talking about when you say bad animation.
He is talking about 95% of all Anime. I agree there has been some that is fully animated and done nicely. Miyazaki films fit into that 5%. Though as someone who studied animation for a while, i think its an Insult to call his work Anime, but i guess it technically is.
There are a few Anime out there that i enjoyed because the story was amazing, it canceled out the lack of animation. I Enjoyed most of the Kenshin series, but after Legends of Kyoto it isnt worth watching.

I'm not talking about the artwork. I'm referring to the animation, how much motion and emotion are present from the drawings. Most of what I've seen are just static heads with blinking eyes a mouth that just moves in and out and maybe some hair or a cape blowing in the wind. If it's an action sequence then it's just blurred fists and feet against a speed lined background. And I hate how some shows will completely change the art style on the fly for 'comedic' effect.

I don't know anyone who has beaten that game. No, no, no, I'm talking about that shitty ending with Venom.
I'm talking about getting through all of those annoying fights against Shriek, Doppleganger, Hobgoblin and the waves of enemies that they throw at you on stage 15 (I believe that's right...) as well as hoarding your Deathlok and Firestar icons until you made it to the grand finale stage right before you showdown against Carnage.
And if you weren't saving those helper icons... you were fucked.
Always, always, ALWAYS, have I made it that stage with no lives and shit for health.
Im not sure if the one for SNES is any harder but i beat it ONCE. And never again attempted it again. You cant use Icons on the last stage fight One-on-One Vs Carnage. You start the fight with Spiderman and pray Venom can finish him off. It was tricky, i also found every continue by the time i was able to do this and used almost all of them before i finally beat him.

Everyone needs to jump off the THE ONLY GOOD GAME FOR XBOX IS HALO bandwagon. Both the original, and especially the 360 have proven themselves to be much more than that one franchise.
I only stated i wonder what would happen, not saying its the only good game. But i still believe that 360 only appeals to certain gamers. Mainly people who enjoy FPS. Though they are good games, i get tired of them easily. Not my type of game is all. But different people will have different experiences, My Xbox was only used for Halo2, Fifa and Street Fighter(online).Im hoping i will get more out of 360 other than the HD DvD player. Keep in mind i still have not Played Greed, its on my Xmas List. Then again its also out for PS3 which once again worries me i will be playing all multi platforms on my PS3 over my 360......well if i ever decide to get a Ps3

uh well i dont live in japan but where i was for black friday to every 5 people that were purchasing a 360 1 purchased a ps3

Hmm, good for that PS3 buyer. I would have backed him up. I try to convince myself that buying a 360 was worth it and in the end i will be happy with this purchase. But im starting to doubt. With my dissappointment of Halo3(i still like & play it online, just disappointed), Spiderman 3 and the fact unless i start getting into FPS games, this console will continue being used only for my HD DvD player, Halo3 & Fifa 08. But i hope im wrong........
As for Japan, they love their RPGs and Xbox is not known for them. In my opinion Xbox only appeals to certain gamers. I wonder how the Box would do if there was no Halo. Then again i hear that Online gameplay is better with 360. But i dont own a Ps3 so i cant say.
I play my Wii alot more than my 360 but i keep my fingers crossed 360 with rise before i eventually buy a PS3 and 360 turns into a dust collector that i use for Halo3, like my xbox was for halo2.

Well all you said is "they were lame". I think it was bold of square to try something new! The whole concept of distorting time was imho very interesting and so was the fact that all characters you joined up with had previously met. It might've been a bit patchy I'll give you that, but so was FF7.
Honestly though, the gameplay kicked serious ass. this was the first RPG that I know of that really made items count. The same with the mini-game of cards. Every item you got could be made useful and be used to make magic or skills. Every card you won could later be made to items. Sure, this game isn't as focused on the leveling part and that might not be everyones cup of tea. Instead the Junction systems allow for insane combinations and customizing. GF's were lame as an attack but instead the skill-concept made Gf's a crucial part of the game. FFVIII also offers a large ammount of secrets and sidequests including Omega Weapon, many hidden GF's, Weapon creating, finding Popo the UFO, collecting magazines and so on.
It feels to me like you didn't play this game the way I did.

Different opinions maybe? I agree the game is NOT worth owning. The battles were too long. You needed GFs for big damage but they took so damn long. The story i agree was lame. Seemed like they really only wanted to concentrate on the love story and everything around it didn't seem to make much sense. Instead of just debating everything you said, ill just say i disagree with everything you said but i will fight to the death for your right to say it. If i didn't accidently find out Quintis(or whatever her name is) little cheat, and level 27-90 in less than an hour i would have never finished the game.
