  1. What a nice thing to come back to after vacation. Farewell, Unmod-chan, and goodnight.
  2. I like how, when he snaps at a small enemy like a rat, he swings it around in his mouth before pitching their corpse to the side. I also like how he finishes off Poes.
  3. Can you not see that he is bragging about being closer to Japan or something? He receives some of the Japanwaves that Japan broadcasts but the rest of the United States do not; thus he is slightly more Asian than I.
  4. ... k. EDIT: Hey, tcrpg person, could I suggest removing that quote from your sig? I enjoyed it as well, but it's a pretty big spoiler, simply because of its source.
  5. Bean is correct. I fail to see how anybody could actually take that literally. Ignore some of the others (like SilverStar). It does. There are plenty of clues to let you know that this game takes place way after Ocarina of Time (as JackKieser said, 100+ years), as it references the OoT storyline as mythology. You also get glimpses at a few different types of ancient technology, and, through subtle references, you really get enough information on the previous games that they tie together fairly well. Not everything is flat-out explained, though, as that was not necessarily TP's purpose. What? It makes plenty of mythological references to OoT, including the same Temple of Time. It's just that this game takes place way after OoT, so the connections are more subtle. Also, it's not meant to tie into Wind Waker directly. Injin posted a video awhile ago that theorizes on the overall Zelda timeline (released before Twilight Princess was out) that pretty much nails everything dead-on. Oh, and yes to both questions, Megadave.
  6. Edit: A-ha! Found it. Wasn't anywhere I'd expect the entrance to be. I had this same problem... I saw the locked room with 3 treasures, but had no key. But since the boss room was right there I just ignored it. So how do you get into the back courtyard, anyway? Is that the area with the Wind things? I could not figure out how the hell to get that. Easy. Nope, that's not the room they're talking about. I was responding to Bigfoot, not the others.

  8. why did you have to go and cheat like that geez cheater Yes, things get really rough in some parts of the Cave of Ordeals. That Magic Armor can truly be a lifesaver at times.
  9. Three words. "C____ o__ O_____". Have fun solvin' that mind-binder.
  10. Sidequests aren't necessarily 'worth it', per se, as everyone has their own standards. I'm just saying that TP has the least significant reward ever. k. The reward for me is actually finishing it. I don't care what I get for it. Cave of Ordeals? The fun was going through all of it; I don't care how useful the reward is or is not.
  11. i found that one for my sixth one i need to look somewhere else also even though i have the magic armor i keep forgetting to use it even in the cave of ordeals on the very last room, figting those three iron knuckles or whatever you want to call them now
  12. Make that two more. edit: woot, found em all. Hahahaha, I was gonna say... "Shit, you found them ALL? I thought youkai was the only one that far into the game." I've got about 40 right now, by the end of the sixth dungeon. 35 hours or so in, I've gotten a little over half of the bugs now. Not sure how I'm doing on hearts, since I'm not sure how many more dungeons await me.
  13. Heh, I only just started the sixth dungeon. I've been giving the game 6-10 hours a day; got 33 hours on it right now. I loved the concept of the fifth dungeon, but it was really damn annoying. The miniboss was a pain at first, but I escaped with one heart left (I didn't have many to begin with, and I was out of soup), and I absolutely love the item. What I really hated, though, were those ice soldier guys that threw ice pikes. Bastards. The Poes are annoying me, ("oh, it must've been 60, not 20!"), and I'm making slow progress on the bugs (I've got a bit over a third). Doing great on Heart Pieces, though. I'm wondering how it's going to turn out in the end; I imagine I'll still be scouring the game for the final heart pieces and whatnot when I'm at the end. Also,
  14. EDIT: The Orb game should not be difficult. You just...
  15. Just to be clear, every time I post something that uses pretty much anything specific from the game, I'm using spoiler tags since, to me, anything said that would ruin the "HOLY SHIT AWESOME" shock one would normally receive is a spoiler.
  16. Funny. If they'd actually played Twilight Princess enough, they'd know it's actually a huge breath of fresh air for the Zelda series. Whatever. Shhteve: Anyway, I finished the third dungeon a bit ago, did some other stuff, etc. I'm taking the dungeons slowly; I'm trying to gather heart pieces and golden bugs as I go. That, and I only have about six hours a day to play. Since I like to be really thorough, I end up spending quite a bit of time in each area.
