Like Gaspode's Metroid Mix "Vast Infinities", I wasn't sure if I liked this very much, but after a few listens it's quickly growing on me. I've waited a VERY long time for someone to remix the Great Temple theme so my heart skipped a beat when I saw this. I'm glad to hear the source tune finally get some love. Thanks for this!

Interesting that this song is essentially Koyaanisqatsi by Philip Glass

What happened to this mix? No longer appears to be available...

Don't rush on my account. I've waited at least 15 years, I can wait a little longer

Awesome. I'm psyched!

Hey everyone,
I would love for anyone to do a remix of the final palace theme from Adventure of Link.
I'm partial to EDM and Synthwave, but would be happy with just about anything as long as it's upbeat. Thanks everyone!

I would love to hear more remixes from this game in general as the site only has one, but I would love to hear this song remixed in particular. The chipset is here on the site, and "Just Like the Mountain, He Will Not Move" is track 26. Awesome game with a sorely overlooked soundtrack!

if you've added me let me know please :]
I've added ya

I've had a Wii since launch, but I guess I've just been a reclusive bastard
Here's my Wii friend code:

I have both gold carts too, except the Ocarina of Time sticker is faded
You gotta love the hologram on the sticker for MM limited edition. Cause you totally know you're gonna want to look at that sticker instead of playing the game

OoT -> MM -> TP -> WW -> PH -> Oracles -> LoZ -> LOZ LA -> LttP -> Link's Awakening
I don't know exactly where Four Swords fits in.
As for the holes, the biggest gap so far is in between WW/PH and LoZ, with the Oracles game being set on small islands meaning it could be where the WW crew touched ground and started the new Hyrule.
It is also hinted that before LttP, there was a war with 3 knights, 8 sages, and the hero. He was the one who put the master sword to rest in the forest. That would be somewhere between Link's adventure and LttP.
Also, somewhere between WW and Oracles, Ganon was freed and permenantly cursed. Somewhere between Link's adventure and LttP, Aghanim was killed, Ganon was banished to the dark realm after getting to control the triforce.
By having Link's Awakening at the end, however, it puts a whole new twist on the story. In fact, a part of me likes to believe that the link that wakes up on the broken ship is not LttP's link, but rather WW's link, and that everything after WW was just a hallucination.
EDIT the nightmares would explain the CD-I horrors.
Ah Aghanim. I would absolutely LOVE to see that character again
Although I'd settle for having a classic Wizzrobe as a boss again (like in LA)
Wizrobe was a recurring miniboss in Majora's Mask, with a beefed-up strategy to beat him. I, too, would like to see Aghanim again.
true, but he was a crappy Wizzrobe. I want to deep robes and the bent waves of energy. I miss reflecting such things with a shield.

This is silly.
It is all continuous. You got LINK, ZELDA, HYRULE, Ganon(dorf) ALWAYS in every game. I mean come on? So what if the story doesn't match up?
Its weird, but Ganon is only the end boss or a major factor in every OTHER Zelda game that's released (with Four Swords Adventures being the only exception (and come on, its just Four Swords beefed up) and with the Oracle games going either way since not together there is no Ganon, but together there is). Seriously, this is a weird trend but its pretty stable. So therefore Ganon will be major in Twilight Princess and probably not there at all in Phantom Hourglass.
Prove me wrong

The END boss of that game was far harder than any of the area bosses
-
I'm still holding it was the Shadow Link for the end of Adventures of Link. for 4 reasons!
1) That last castle is so freaking long, it drains you of what you've got anyways
2) That odd flying boss you have to fight right BEFORE shadow link is tough in his own right
3) The trick that works to kill a lot of the armos knights (jumping at them and then thrusting your sworf forward while coming back down to cut right through their shield) doesn't work too well on shadow Link
4) and if all that wasnt bad enough, you have some jerk-ass wizard laughing at you the whole fight.
-
hmm.. i just realized. The hardest sort of "secret boss" ever would have to be the Black Rabite from Seiken Densetsu 3. But I think Squaresoft intended for that one to be impossible
-
hardest boss ever would have to be the end boss for "The Adventures of Link". I somehow beat it as a kid on the actual cartridge when a few years ago it took me half an hour to beat that boss using a ROM and save states.
