  1. This is the worst I have heard Miss Goldin.

I really am dissapointed, but it is still better than a lot of things I have heard.

As far as the guy goes, he isn't a trained singer, and it shows, he's not horrible, but he isn't trained to use his voice effectively. The rap isn't bad, but it's too slow to be 'normal rap' and it isn't flowing enough to be 'melodic rap.'

Guitar and Piano seem to be spot on. Overall, I would give this a 7 on the OCR scale.

On the Pixietricks scale, it is severely lower.

Edit: Pixies voice sounds flat, compared to the rest, like she's crowding the mic, maybe that's what happened?

To be fair, this mix was done very quickly. Zircon actually submitted it before I had to the chance to rerecord my vocals. I wasn't happy with them because I'm not used to singing in a fast, poppy style, and I had to record them in a rush. It's definitely not my best work, but when you're collabing with four other people eager to get the mix out to the masses, that's what happens. The point was that we had an awesome time together. ^_^

I figured something along those lines.

I think a revamped version with better recorded vocals would be an excellent complement to that website of yours.

  3. Let's pinpoint a couple of the problem sections.
dokoka/kotta hara no mukou, atashi/mijimesa musabi/shiteta dokoro ni

pixietricks might be well advised to take an out here. One of the tricks I learned in speaking Japanese is that you don't need to pronounce that "h" sound in when it follows another vowel sound. Thus, you don't need to take that extra breath to produce the sound, which might allow the singer to condense the two sounds into the melody. Effectively, the pronunciation might be: "ko-tah-lah", all in one smooth set.

    That's what i heard

  4. Quite excellent work.

I've had this track for quite a while (since I found out about Chrono Symphonic in fact. (I actually found out about it because of PixieTricks vocals on another piece.) About the double syllable, I agree, "faded" could of been drug out aother half second. Overall an excellent mix, certainly part of my night tracks playlist.

And to emperor_sauzer or OCR sucks forever or whatever he is calling himself, please do not post.

  5. Actually LinkMan.

    No.

We couldn't kill them. Apparently there's a law saying that it's wrong.

So.... we kinda sent them on a trip.

But we're not sure where to..

Kind of 'misplaced' the manifest... and the plane registration... and $4,000 in bribes (you're gonna pay Rayza back... right?) ...and the wallets and purses of the victi... winners.

Oh, and Claado... keep up the good work and get it out soon!

    K THNX

  6. CompyFox

    I hope this owns.

BTW, the split commentary killed me.

    (In the Bad Way)

    Ace of Space rocks though.

    Edit:

Does NEBODY HAVE A LNK FOR AN INTERNET III BROWSER!?!?!?!??!?!

    Edit2: Rama's report sounded horrible.

and then we come back... to the Russian Remix Roulette.

    ...Dedededed dedededededededede dededededede...

    Good Jorb.

  7. Seems a bit too 'busy' and sometimes my speakers had a slight 'buzz'

    But I like it overall.

The first part is just one great crescendo that heaps effect ovr effect onto the piece, until it all seems to just fall apart.

Then it starts to build again.

    and build

at about 3:40 my eardrums seemed to explode, but I couldn't bring myself to turn it off, it just kept my attention too well.

The source seemed buried at times, almost lost completely at others, which isn't bad, as it shows some of the mixer's composition.

The vocal samples seem out of place at first, but once you start to recognize what they're saying, (if you can) it fits beautifully.

    Overall: 9/10

  8. Very expansive piece.

I like the beginning, a nice little introduction before anything 'breaks'

The hit at ~2:12 is excellent, very loud, yet not speaker shatteringly.

The theme seem melded in, peeking out evey once in a while, then fading back into the mix.

It doesn't feel like a 6:00 piece. It actually goes by rather quickly, and still manage to say quite a bit.

All of a sudden at the ~3:55 you hear a much darker, much more dangerous sound, and it fits perfectly with the rest of the piece.

The crescendo at ~5:00 is trully outstanding, nice job.

Then it drops back into the familiar original, however, the ending doesn't seem to actually be an ending.

(Since he says this is part of a larger project it seems prfectly acceptable however.)

    I say 9.8/10.

  9. Hey guys.

I haven't downloaded the show yet.

    I probably won't until tomorrow.

I mean... like it's been several months now.

and still no SGX goodness in my mailbox...

Due to my overwheliming sadness I don't think I'll be able to click the link.
