That's not the problem. The problem is that he doesn't want anything to happen that I can't handle because I'm not legally 18 yet, Whatever that might be. I asked him what kind of things could possibly happen that age would be a problem and he wouldn't give me an answer. Kinda think he's trying to come up with reasons for me not to go because he doesn't trust me to go by myself...

To counter, let me say this: When it comes to music I don't think anyone who enjoys music from OCR should be deemed close minded.
What about the people who submit metal music to OCR?
I'm just gonna say you don't know what you're talking about. Also, since you're the furthest thing from an authority on the subject, your opinions are void and baseless.

I don't consider metal to even be music. It's something else. Noise of some sort. The artists have no musical talent at all.
Just a morbid genre in my opinion.

:3 Awesome choices! X3 I myself rarely listen to screamo but umm... Kidney Thieves is a group with a female lead singer. They do rock and softer rock too. She doesn't do much screamo but.. eh.. I like it. :3 Give them a listen when you have time, here's one of my favs by them....

They pitchshift her vocals down live. Not sure how much. I have a friend who was on tour with them.
Rob Zombie uses an absolutely disgusting amount of vocal processing live.

spoooilorsz I unlocked those as well, I also got some interview where they talk about how videogame cover bands like to cover contra, also I unlocked some OTHER character, some chick. When you select probotector you can change his color by pressing up and down on the character select screen, also the original contra, the sound is fucked spoilleros end

The first one was great because it was so honest. Also the song was SO MUCH BETTER. The original had the catchiest, most fun song on the planet.
The 2nd numa song was the worst pile of garbage ever, terrible melody, terrible chorus. The added FX on it made it even sadder.
This one was in between those too.

Haha, that's sort of an inside joke where our drummer brian is usually hidden in every live photo taken. So we just started calling him Drummor.
The village people line is because we were at some Halloween party and a lot of guys were dressed like construction workers. We kept going up to them and saying "Oh the village people, NICE".
We almost got into a fight it was awesome.

I can say they're not. I hate Kanye's productions. And Timbaland's. And anyone who effortlessly samples (except for Warren G's "Regulators" because god damn, I've always loved the Michael McDonald song and they did a good enough spin on it - oh, and they reperformed it so it's not technically a sample).

About the synth vibrato, I agree with you however none of that is softsynth, its all direct wavs from the keyboard, and while Chris does a lot of pitch bends and vibrato on his keyboard, he doesn't use any on this song.

Before going any farther, keep in mind that this is coming from the perspective of a listener who doesn't know much about music. I almost never care for metal in any form, but this is probably my favorite Bloody Tears mix. First off, the repetition you referred to is part and parcel of the metal genre. Metal is about presence, force and power, and not so much development of melodies and the like. So it's not uncommon to hear one kickass melody carried through a whole song from beginning to end. Thats not across the board, but if you listen to Dragonforce, for example, you'll hear the same set of riffs repeated several times, up to 8 and 9 minutes.
Finally, the lyrics. Metal without screaming is not metal. I have never ever heard metal without screaming. I hate screaming. Except in this song, ....
No. Hell, do you even hear screaming in Dragonforce, the only band you mentioned? While occasionally what you said might be true, the majority of the time you're way off.
