  1. This game for the Sega Master System has a special place in my heart as the very first video game I had ever played. I remember loving the music to it, and seeing that the remixers on OCR have woefully ignored this classic (much like many gamers have ignored Golvellius altogether), I decided to give it a go. There's not much here yet besides a basic synth bassline and a piano accompaniment, I'd be glad to hear what works well and what I can add/work on. http://fnclan.com/raimondo/music/Raimondo%20-%20Golvellius.mp3
  2. Thanks fer the feedback guys! I've already got a few ideas to work in, and am definitely going to re-tool the lead lines to work more smoothly per both of your suggestions. I'll be posting an update fairly soon... working on this gave me some ideas that don't really work in the context of this song but definitely warrant a new track, but I don't want to abandon this one by any stretch.
  3. I'm no expert on remixes (like I mentioned in my thread I'm still new to this scene) but I know what I like, and I definitely dug this remix. You have a good sense of development, and at :14 you really hit the ground running with a nice beat and every part that comes in after that compliments the main bass theme nicely. I enjoyed the break at 1:10 though it seemed like the theme wandered a bit aimlessly after a few seconds, but you brought it back with a sweet crescendo to end the clip. Definitely keep going with this one, I think you've really got something here. Also, I like that you decided to give an oft-overlooked and underappreciated motif a go.
  4. Fix'd! My link-fu is not strong today.
  5. I'm still relatively new to the remixing scene, and am trying to figure out the particular sound that overclocked is looking for. I'm using FruityLoops, and cobbled this together over the course of a day or two: http://fnclan.com/raimondo/music/Raimondo%20-%20Avatar%20of%20Doma.mp3 So please, help a newb out, tell me what works and what doesn't. Greatly appreciated! (I'm fully aware that it's probably overlong, and that the piano mixing isn't perfect in a couple spots, but apart from that, go nuts)
