Just beat Journey. It was every bit as magical as I had hoped it would be.
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! It is my favorite game. I've never felt so strongly in or about a game as I did that one.
Got the Collector's Edition back in 2012. Finally got all Trophies for Flower a few weeks ago. Working on Flow.

I DLed my first pack yesterday. It was a 256x256 texture pack. Awesome. And I can only assume what you mean by transparent textures; I don't know how that would be an advantage at all...

Can you play online with texture packs or do you have to switch back to default?

I didn't realize how many craters existed already... I have a mind to just start fresh somewhere else with a different idea. Crowbar, do you have the tools to flatten or remove the one I started? If so, I'll head out further from civilization and start new.

MPUK is offering Bukkit for testing. I think its a good idea to jump ship from the dead hMod to Bukkit, but we thought we'd ask first.
Everybody OK with testing Bukkit?

Hey, good deal. I took a look around for about a minute, but my desktop isn't fast enough to run smoothly. I'll have to check out the area later on my laptop and stake a claim.
I looked at the map a few days ago, and the surface looks really cool. I dig the highway connecting everything.

I expected it to take a little while, though. I'd like to contribute more to the forums (I'm really only in two threads right now) since being gone for so long, but the end of this quarter has kept me truly occupied with studying. I haven't had much time to browse around yet.

I got all the 120 gold cards om normal, and started on Hard but I never got close to getting it all under 3 hours. I might be able to beat the game on Hard under that time, but not get all the gold cards at the same time.
I'd also love to see that. I love that game.

Has anyone ever actually beaten Bomberman 64 on Hard in under 3 hours getting all 120 gold cards? I have not seen any pictures of this on the internet. Ever. Has anyone done this?
I just want to know what it looks like! Because there's no way I could ever do that.
I used a Gameshark back in the day, but that only got me the boots.

I just finished downloading some videos but the subtitles are in Japanese. The torrent came with a WinRAR file full of English subs. I extracted the files, but I don't know what to do with them. The videos still only have an on/off option for the Jap subtitles.
So, what do I do with these .ass files so that I can watch these videos with English subtitles? Thanks.

5-5-5-15 is a ram timing. wikipedia is your friend, man - if you'd just googled those numbers you'd have found information online about it.
See, I've done plenty of that. I just can't grasp the concept, I guess. And the texture thing isn't a problem anymore.

So, bumping my 325/296 to like, 400/350 (random numbers that look good to me) wouldn't help or would just break my card?
And what is this 5-5-5-15 and 3-3-4-12 nonsense I see everywhere? Is that something I can change or is it permanently set in the card? It's something about timing, no? Lower numbers are better? Curse my ignorance.

So, on a somewhat related note, I'm looking into this whole overclocking business (which is totally foreign to me). I downloaded this ATITool 0.26 and I have no idea what it does. I ran a Find Max Core last night and my computer crashed I guess after a while. The program said it overclocked to 486 Core / 297 Memory. Now, I have no idea what either of those mean, but I was going to run a Find Max Memory tonight and see what that told me. Anyways, I guess I'm just curious as to what is a reasonable level to overclock, and (if it depends on the system) how do I find out what level I should set them at? Is this even then right way to overclock? And I have tried looking into this before, but it's really confusing.

Well the newest Catalyst is actually 8.9 now, but I'd imagine any issue with the Orange Box would have been fixed already in 8.6, so I dunno how much it would help to update.
When I was looking for drivers, I saw that. But it said it was for Vista or something like that.

Hahah, that was a typo. Definitely NOT 8.8. I meant 2.80 Ghz. Not sure how that happened. And thanks, I may just take you up on that offer, prophet.
And no, I did not try re-downloading the drivers. I just downloaded the latest one (as far as I know) in July, so I doubt there's a new one. I'll check, though. (I could check before I post this, but I won't.)

It would seem that I have the most up-to-date driver for XP 32-bit. = Catalyst 8.6

Yeah, I've been following that thread today, thanks.
It's 8.80 Ghz. And I do plan on expanding; I want to play more than just Source games. I'm not too sure about the power supply requirements and speeds and whatnot, but I suppose I could post that in the other thread. I guess this issue's done.
I tried that pagepool thing, and it's the same.
It all goes back to normal after I Tab out and then back in... SO, I'll just stick with that until I upgrade my card.
On to the other thread, then...

sounds like your drivers are bad. i mean, your card is bad, but your drivers probably are the issue. install, restart when they tell you, and give it a shot. see what happens.
if it's still fritzing, look into a new card. even an 8500 (like 40 bucks) would be a massive upgrade.
I've been looking for an upgrade anyways. I just bought 4 Gigs of RAM over the summer (upgrade from 512mb). I'm no expert with computers, but my processor is a Pentium 4. Do I need to upgrade that if I want to get a decent graphics card, or can I get something worth while with that processor?
(Yes, I have PCIe.)

Did you do a lot of creating in LBP1+2? Those were arguably my favorite games on PS3. I spent a lot of time making vehicles. Not sure how the bird is going to work in LBP3, though, seeing as it pretty much defeats every "platforming" challenge.
My PS3 came with LBP and Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time. Thus my love for both franchises was born. I would love to see them put the charm of R+C into a full-length film.
