    What was the first video game soundtrack that you were drawn to?

    Secret of Mana for the SNES. For years after my mom sold my system and games, I'd still recall playing it and listening to the awesome soundtrack. The Ice Country theme stands out the most in my mind, it was so perfectly fitting for the area.

    Acctually, that theme was my awakening to the importance of music in videogames. I'm playing at a friend's home, her Mom says something, he mutes the TV to listen and I'm like "What the...".

    I don't think ANYONE could do Earthbound justice. It's too unique a blend of so many things. I don't think it would make sense on film.

    But then, they said that about a clockwork orange didn't they?

    As a fan, I have to agree. The game demands ridiculous amounts of the player's imagination, and no movie director can match my experience of it. But the same could be said about books, and many books were turned into films, and many bookfans were outraged about it. But at least, they had a movie for comparison, and they could say "I would've done it diferently", and by thinking how, the reasons why they were fans became a lot more clear.

    So, it's always worth it, in my opinion.

    so maybe i'm looking to far into it, but I think there's something to be said about the whole concept of having an avatar, and how everyone in that planet pretty much has a usb cable attatched to them... do you guys think a movie like this was inspired by the internet?

    Nah... This is really old-scool sci-fi. There's this movie where scientists are trying to go into apes. The diference was that they were only experiencing their minds, not replacing it with their own. Can't remember what was called... But yeah, body exchange is pretty standard...

    EDIT: Also, thanks for that video, Mr. Belmont, you are a man of fine taste:)!!

    I'm so underwelmed by this one...

    So many cliche's and predictable outcomes...

    So many lost chances for clever humour and originality(script-wise)...

    Everyone else who saw it with me loved it and hated me...:sad:

    Sorry about the delay in posting a new episode, everyone/anyone/J64H. I've been busy prepping and releasing that EP I was working on, but now that that's out, I have more time to do the editing. I can't tell you when to expect the next one out, and it most definitely won't be until sometime next week.

    We're still on this, just getting a little overwhelmed over the winter season.

    Nice... I actually miss this show to the point of checking several times a day if there's a new one out... Please take it as a compliment when I say: HURRY UP ALREADY!
