You're not alone Ski, and if you've played DKC3 for the GBA, you know the music is completely different from the SNES version. Most of them are pretty cool, but the snowy level is hilariously bad. I wonder why no one here did a DKC1 album project before this...

I have to admit, this sounds much cooler then mine:-P, certainly something I'd like to groove to on the dance floor. Only things I can add to the suggestion box are to lower the volume of the flutes around 2:25 - 2:50 and the overall bass just a little bit, and perhaps throw in a few more sfx where it doesn't have. Also put some improvisation or solo into it that'll embed it into the listeners mind (give it something that people will remember for a long time). Other than that, I think it's pretty awesome, just a few tweaks here and there and it'll definitely be worthy of a position on this site (I hope, you know how strict judges can be:nicework:).

Despite losing everything I worked on when my computer crashed, I found a song I'd been working on on my iPod. The steel drums were going to be real, but the crash happened before I could record. I'll start redoing this song, but it'll have more instruments than MIDI. So that means the strings, piano, steel drums, harp and guitar (and maybe drums) will be played by me and hopefully my family. After a fatal computer crash, I've lost everything I've been working on, so don't expect a remix any time soon, but do expect some (hopefully) great ones in the future.

8-OWow, thank you all, your feedback is greatly appreciated. I am currently planning on making a Roller Disco Coaster 1.5 with more stuff in it since you guys seem to like songs to be real complexed, that is IF the judges reject this one. Edit: The ghost/grandma/wolf or whatever you guys think it is at :41 is supposed to be an electric guitar:lol:, but I'll see if I can find something better.

:tomatoface:Interesting... not what expected, sounds just fine on my ipod, but you're right, it could be better in some places and doesn't really match the roller coaster itself. Thank you Diseased, now if my song does get rejected, I now know why and will take your thoughts into consideration and work on this piece a bit more. Since I'm 17 with not much formal musical training and just getting into it, your feedback is greatly appreciated.
