This was one of Nintendo's greatest E3 conferences ever, I believe.
I agree with this; they've pulled out all the stops in regards to nostalgia and retro-ness. And its so beautiful to the point that it brings tears to my eyes. T_T

Also, I think there are some people in the same boat as me being that I mainly want to do this for the experience of making a game, and possibly putting something in my portfolio.
I definitely agree with this statement; I'm eager to see if my skills are high enough in order to contribute to something as cool as a game of this caliber.

As a programming student, this is definitely something I'll be keeping tabs on.
Most of my experience is in c/c++, and I'm just now getting comfortable with Java, but if you need some other coders, I would be interested in possibly assisting.

This has the right proportions of relaxed ambient atmosphere mixed with a chippy undercurrent; it's just got an amazing, natural rhythm that makes it so relaxing to listen to.
