    Electric Guitar: Rhythm
  1. Thanks A bunch! I'm really happy for the (mostly) positive feedback. Invader_Quirk, you rock! Everyone else, thanks too. I haven't been on the forum in a while, been a bit busy, sorry. But I'm taking the suggestions, and I really think that I might just leave it as is and send it in. Haven't been really working on the remix in some time. As for the guitars, I can't really turn down the gain, because I recorded from my amp, and that would mean re recording. Thanks again!
  2. Thanks for the electric guitar compliment! I tried making it sound more natural and recorded it from my Vox AD amp, with a usb condensor mic, rather than do it straight through Logic. I'll give it a go with different piano tones, and perhaps some effects.
  3. It's definitely got a nice atmospheric nuance about it. Maybe work on the chorus, make it feel more 'in the background' rather than so rigid and cutting off so quick.
  4. Right on. Yeah, most of the people that I've shown it too, they've mentioned the piano. The funny thing is, I actually played those parts, but I believe it's the samples and the compressing that just didn't fit very well. If I stuck to the opening credits, or this one?
  5. Hey guys! I'm pretty new to the OC community. I've downloaded and listened to quite a bit of the OC remixes online, and listened to them from friends, but never got too involved in the forums. So here's (I believe) one of my first posts! I've done a Pokemon remix a few days ago, from the Red, Blue and Yellow Gameboy games, and was hoping I could get some feedback on it. I consider the piece finished, and would appreciate if I could get some comments on it. Possibly even some suggestions, although the mix has already been mastered (to the extent of my mastering skills). I'm planning to send this as a submission, but first tell me what you think. Original: Into The Palace ReMix: Out Of The Palace Thanks!
  6. Could anyone tell me what my user id is? I'm having a very hard time finding it. And would like to submit a remix. Thanks!
