  1. Another remix from Phoenix Wright... I completely changed the style from what I usually do, so I'm sure there are plenty of improvements to be made - does the bass sound right? does the random synth panned to the right sound out of place? do I need more variety in the drums, or perhaps the rhythm in general? The link: http://www.magix.info/us/chasing-the-tiger.audio.41575.html This time I could find a source link:
  2. NEW VERSION ==> www.tindeck.com/listen/xkvs Started experimenting with effects and EQ, mainly effects I may have gone overboard with the experimentation though, I don't know. Most of the changes were in the intro and ending. ...Thanks for the comments, by the way.
  3. ...ok, I've half-finished my first remix ever... I can't seem to find the source online, but the title of the track is Investigation ~ Middle 2004 from Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations. The remix is at http://www.magix.info/us/investigation-evolution.audio.38089.html... I haven't actually done a proper intro, I just stuck something there, and the last minute or so is just copy, paste and change a little, so I might change that too. Other than that, I don't think I've done any mixing or mastering, and I might add some dynamics... I've got a faint idea of what I'm going to do next, but as for the mixing/mastering...I'm pretty clueless in that area...
  4. comments noted (thanks, by the way). I'm working on a remix at the moment...but it's nowhere near finished, so I thought I'd get some help with getting the sound right.
  5. Hey... Here are my first...19 or 20 songs...well, the link only goes to the latest one, I'm sure you'll be able to find the rest if you want... Everything was made using Magix Music Maker 14, which is good enough to suit my needs, although it lags a bit when I do anything too ambitious...which is to be expected, i suppose. Feel free to comment on any song that's there...and help with mastering would be appreciated too..i'm beginning to experiment with the mastering window. I'm not sure whether it's possible to download the songs, I haven't tried before...I'm pretty sure you can find the file in Temporary Internet Files, if you really want them.
  6. ...hi, I'm ÆI, or Andi...or ÆI. if you want. I don't mind. I found ocremix...a few weeks ago, maybe? and downloaded some songs, followed by some albums (all awesome...so far, anyway), before finally deciding to join today. I learnt (along with most other second generation Chinese immigrants) piano for a few years, so I can play...reasonably well, i think. I'm better at improvising though. I can sing as well...but I've never really learnt anything about singing apart from some techniques acquired during school choir practice... As for mixing, I can do it, but so far its been 6 months of fiddling around with virtual knobs and sliders, the effects of which I half understand from a semester-long year 9 music tech class ...I made some songs along the way too. ...erm, yeah. introduction finished...
