  1. Zephyr: where can i get third party time stretch plugins? could it also be under a different program?
  2. How can i do this to a sample in fl9? I don't think i can assign a knob or slider for time stretching, but if any know how your reply is welcomed.
  3. I've been messing around with sound-fonts for a while on the Fruity sound-font player, and I wanted to know how can I assign a specific note I'm playing on the keyboard to the midi controllers pads? (MPD24) For instance, like how under one sound-font patch it could have different types of congas. Can I add those congas to all of the pads on the midi?
  4. I can't find the normal pitch control to assign a slider to by right clicking it. I have one but it can only be used after I'm done recording the sample. I'm just trying to play a sample and while at the same time moving the slider to change the pitch while I'm testing it, and not after the finished product. I can pitch it but only when I'm done recording. Any ideas?
  5. thanks skry, but any ideas on how to assign the sliders/knobs to change the pitch and or tempo? Right now i can add sample to the sliders and what not.
  6. How can I assign sliders and knobs on the mpd24 using fl studio9? I tried opening the FPC on Flstudio but i didn't see any sliders or knobs in where i can assign them too. heres a video of some guy doing it but he has reason: Could i assign them to pitch slower as i slide down the slidder like he did in the video?
  7. Guys thanks for the help, i figured it out. I was messing around the advanced options like DDRKirby said, and I brought it down to 3ms. This is what I did: Go to Audio Settings. Click ASIO Panel. Click the little plus sign on the side of the "Conexant High Definition Audio." A little tree of options will appear. It should be three options. Now click on the little "play sign" (it looks green) on the side of the first option, which is "Conexant HD Audio digital out." The little button should now turn all black meaning its in Idle. Now ASIO4All should work.(it did for me.) Now if you want to lower the latency from the default 12ms. Just go to the ASIO Buffer SIze on that same Options page.(the one you were just on.) And lower the ASIO Buffer size to 128 samples or however low you can without getting that crackling noise. I went from 40ms to 3ms. Such a huge difference. I can see a brand new horizon.
  8. How do you guys keep adding sounds to a loop while recording in FLStudio with an MPD24? For example one can just start off with the hihats hitting repeatedly, then the kicks and snares, while its still going. heres a video of some guy doing it: I want to be able to do this, since right now i have to stop the beat, and then replay it by adding more sounds to it. I need it to be consecutive.
  9. I can record and all and output sounds, but only on the default, which isn't ASIO4all. With the default selection i get about 40ms of waiting time. I can notice the difference. When i try to lower it, the speakers start to crackle. I don't plan to do any voice recording just instrumentals/beats, but my drum sequences are always offf just by a little bit. As for a budget i would say @ 100-130. and i don't know anything about soundcards. my ignorance lead me to believe you just plug it in...and BAM your good to go. but thats not the case here **also how do i install a soundcard? will it fit in a laptop? do I need a midi input/output cable?(i'm currently using the USB cable the MPD24 came with)
  10. well guys what sound card do you recommend? I have a HP Pavillion dv6000 laptop. Windows Vista 32bit. (if that helps any)
  11. How do i find out my sound card? If it helps any my computer is a Windows Vista 32bit I tweakened the advance settings in ASIO4ALL and still no noise. The FPC in FLStudio lights up, but no noise comes out from it.
  12. I'm new on here so bare with me guys. The problem I have is the whole latency issue. Everytime i press the pads on the MPD i hear the sound come out a couple miliseconds later. Its so subtle but i can hear it. I tried ASIO4All on the FL studio (9 XXL version) and i can't hear anything when i click that option. I press the pads, i see them light up on FL studio, but i dont hear anything. But on the other hand when I have it on the default which is "Primary Sound Driver" i hear it, but it gives me the whole latency issue. Also when i try to put the buffer thing as low as i can my speaker makes weird crackling noises. Anyone know how I can solve this??plz
