Nope. I'd say watch a series or two like Log Horizon also, but other than that, I like to watch something that leaves me in a good mood. I get my depression from other sources.

Soooo I don't own a Wii but im curious how this works, as my friend has one. Do you just download some software and uhhhh like connect it to the Wii? I'm seriously clueless as to how this works but wanna know so I can tell my friend!
Instructions are nice and clear on the website. All you need is a 2 GB or less SD card and you're golden.
Delete any stage builder stages on the Wii (there will be a few the system installs when it first creates the Brawl save data if you haven't deleted those already). If there are any existing Brawl stage builder files on the SD card too, you need to get rid of those also.
Extract hackless zip onto SD, plug SD into wii, Access stage builder, select "Launch game."
If there are any issues, follow their instructions in case I missed something. If you still have issues, talk to them about it.

Kyoukai no Kanata (Beyond the Boundary in English, I think) is seriously awesome, even with the main female lead being annoying sometimes. It's too bad the last episode is next week. ;_;
Also, if you do watch the weird idol judge OVA things, skip the CG song part. Your life will be better for it.

I'll join either. Not exactly spectacular, but I do play suicidal on beat hazard. On Audiosurf, I usually play vegas, haven't played much elite.

I'm waiting to play until my sister in college is done with finals. We've played Terraria so much together, and we're hoping that this will carry the fun even further (not that Terraria goes away, mind you).

If you haven't played them already, you should really consider the Castlevania titles for DS. Order of Ecclesia is amazing, Portrait of Ruin is fun (albeit hard; some bosses are giant pains), and Dawn of Sorrow wasn't as good as I hoped it would be (not a fan of the change in art style between games, too). It's not too bad, though.

Probably buying a Wii U soon, and...my monitor doesn't have an audio out port. Would this kind of thing work? I'd need an extra HDMI cable, but then I could plug headphones or external speakers into the stereo port and be all set, right? Or am I missing any information about technical audio stuff?googling around a bit, it looks like that's the only way to get a separate audio stream from the Wii U
There's no way to tell it to send it out the AV cable like PS3? If not, that's too bad.

On a more serious note, when exactly is thanksgiving for you guys and gals? In Germany, this would be October 6th... :-/
Next week on Thursday in the US, so that would be the 28th. It's always the 4th Thursday in the month.

A history of vgm show? Start from the super early stuff like Space Invaders and talk about the tech, technical milestones, influential composers and soundtracks, that stuff. How did we get from four beeps to live orchestra?

Kingdom Hearts. Start with that one.
But if you want an actual FF (sort of suggested KH jokingly, but it wouldn't be bad to play), I do like FF IV a lot. I enjoyed the DS remake a lot, still haven't gone through the final dungeon to beat the final boss, though. Be prepared for jumps in difficulty near the end if you don't grind much. It's not too horrible, though.
Honestly, though, as long as you choose a good one, you won't be disappointed. Avoid XIII.

I think we could definitely stockpile footage from this upcoming MAGFest for a youtube video.
This, along with maybe some other OC Remix panels. If you end up doing anything exciting and you have a camera rolling, you might as well post it.
Along with OCR remixers, you might consider composer interviews. It doesn't hurt to send an email to see if they wouldn't mind questions like in talkback, or you can have a set of questions ready and just do it that way.
When posting, I'd recommend keeping most of the videos shorter; I think most people go to youtube for quick entertainment. I went to check out the first OCR Talkback and it was almost two hours long; it's a bit much to just randomly decide to watch with 30 minutes of free time. Of course, if videos are long, that's alright, but it might be nice to split them into parts if you can.

Super Metroid, which reminds me that I should see if any of my nieces or nephews want to play it sometime.
After that, Our older brother once got my sister a subscription for Nintendo Power for fun and it came with a CD of the Super Mario 64 music. Tetrisphere was where I really first heard intentionally electronic music. I loved it, my parents weren't big fans of it.
Also, the NES Castlevanias really stuck with me as having great music.

I loved Chobits. I have a big soft spot for anime like it and Ah my Goddess, where they're more of a gentle journey without too many bumps and potholes (not too big, either). I like to feel happy to have watched/read something at the end.

Don't worry; you aren't the only one who does. Sometimes the fanservice is a bit much, but the story is solid along with the art and sound.
I really like the music for C3's OPs, especially the first one. The animation is pretty but sort of boring to me:

I read the description for Evangelion and never watched it. Too dark for me.

There can be a sense of satisfaction gained in doing something well, even if that thing is ultimately insignificant.
I'm through a good chunk of Castlevania: OoE on hard max lv1, which is similar in the satisfaction, but different in that it's more overcoming the challenge. There's a reason games like Demon Souls have such an appeal. It's like pushing your limits when exercising but without any physical benefit. I have a feeling it hits the same chemicals in your brain (I may be wrong, though; maybe a medical person could confirm/deny this).
I have wasted time getting better in Dustforce (got the Steam Achievement, no Yotta, Peta, Exa or Tera), but I have never been one to play fighting games except for Smash Bros.
I do waste a lot of time playing videogames, watching TV and anime, etc.. I just like doing what I like.

If you want to go a bit crazier, You should compare this remix to Chrono Trigger's end of time song. It almost sounds like you could sample it over this track (maybe even the Chrono trigger theme...?). Then again, I haven't really put in the effort to have any studio chops to do this, so what would I know. *shrug*
