  1. If you can find a logo with enough air over it's head, I'd be happy to make one. Keep in mind, I make these on MS Paint xD Not photoshop.
  2. I'm not sure if this is the right board to put this in. But I just wanna share the image of OCReMix in the winter. So yeah. Might as well introduce myself. I'm a ( http://www.youtube.com/TheExarion ) remixer myself who joined in March.
  3. Oh yeah, xP Thanks (to you and the mods) Also, I have 2 new vids up today! I QUENCH on opinions and ideas!
  4. http://www.youtube.com/TheExarion Opinions would be greatly appreciated! Not on the mistakes, I've been told plenty by some professionals Just, overall, how the song(s) sound. Thanks!
  5. How do you make your songs? Preferrably the Koopa vs. Kefka theme? :D

  6. AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!! Where are you!?!?!?

  7. Hey everybody! I need help on trying to sync 2 songs or more. Does it depend on the file format? What program do you suggest for syncing songs? I need this because Mario Paint has more sounds kept in different files that I can't combine without syncing it, which I fail at in trying with audacity. Is there anyway you can shave off those little milliseconds to make it work? Thanks!
  8. Wow, I feel stupid. Forgot about the credits. Thanks to both of you!
  9. Hey everyone! Please spare me. I am still somewhat new here, so I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this. Anyway, there's this one game on Andkon.com known as Pictogrid. I noticed how great the music was and noticed that one was an OCReMix (Monstrous Turtles!). I was wondering if anyone could point out the rest of the songs and say if they're OCR's or not, please? Thanks! Pictogrid: http://www.andkon.com/arcade/puzzle/pictogrid/ ^^You only have to stay on the menu screen to listen to all the songs, but try the game, too! Thanks for anyone who names a song!
  10. I stopped listening to it after about... half a minute? Sorry, but those noises were pretty suggestive, lol
  11. As far as I know, this song is pretty original and variated from the original 8BIT sounds *wink*wink*. If you can make a little medley out of it, it could probably be better. By the way, what remix program do you use?
  12. Use some cool remixer that you can find, you could learn the treble and bass clef notes. Those are the basics, and once you learn those, it should be easy enough to make that song. Whatever works for you!
  13. The Underworld song from SSBB I'm refering to is this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crI-5q3XXJc&fmt=18 You can notice how it increases in instruments throughout the song. Once again, cool technique.
  14. Yes you should. My current arrangement that I'm working on is Gusty Garden. Then I'll do SSBB Main Theme (Virtuoso Piano Sheets), Kirby Super Star Gourmet Race, Sims 2 Main Theme, Mario Party 5 - Start the Dream, and Mario Party 2 Space Land. Here's a medley on Mario Paint you should definitely listen to (not mine): And ohai! to Fellwing!
  15. Actually, I realized some sort of technique in this song: Keep adding instruments, take it all back, repeat. Kind of like the underworld theme used in SSBB. And, nevermind about the pizzes... well, maybe toning those down, just a little, and bringing out the melody a little more should be good. Don't do the Link dies thing if it's already been done. People will think it's just stealing. DO THE GET TRIFORCE! YES! DO THAT!
  16. I am requesting another song from Super Mario Galaxy, a Battlerock galaxy remix: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_p2qAE6xrBQ I think a good enough name would be Fight for the Stars. If anyone thinks they're up for it, please respond! Thanks!
  17. The ending is pretty good, but maybe you could end it with the Triforce fanfare theme? Just a suggestion :-/ If you want to end it with that "Rock a bye, baby" thing that should spring up some smiles Otherwise, great song and I would also suggest laying off those pizzicatos a little...
  18. That's the one, yep! I've also been playing the series since I was 5, maybe 4. I'm sorry you didn't hear about Mario Paint Composer until now! There are a ton of videos on youtube, and it's MUCH more advanced than the SNES version (5 note per beat limit, unlimited tempo, longer songs, files added for even longer songs, and you're allowed to pick between different sounds, and if you want, you can make you're own sounds!). You can see some of my Mario Paint stuff in the Workshop thread "My songs". Please check it out! I can teach you how to get back into Mario Paint if you're willing to .
  19. Ok, I got the LAME thing for audacity and here goes my MP3-Mario Paint-remix of Final Destination from SSBB: http://www.mediafire.com/?mayed2tyzmr I'll re-upload some of my other songs later...
  20. Hi! My name is Universe-X and I joined about a week ago. Forgot to introduce myself. I am a huge Mario fan. I know almost every game and I've remixed a few of the songs from several games. I am willing to take reqeusts/suggestions for remixes, but I am limited. I remix (currently) with only Mario Paint Composer and I must say I am pretty good at it . I am about 14 years and I can't give out my location or name on the internet. I love remixing video game music, so I hope I can contribute to OCR someday!
  21. iTunes? Are you sure? Can you explain it to me? Or, if not, I'll just stick with a downloadable version. By the way, as you can see by how I stubborn I am, I am lazy.
  22. Yeah, I had a limit on my instruments (and they're kinda random). I guess I could've chosen a lighter drum technique. Also, I lost my audacity, so the whole MP3 convert thing is gonna take a while for me to do/find/get used to on this new computer.
