  1. New horrorcore beat: http://www.AfterTouchBeatz.com (Beat should play automatically) Beat has a tempo of like 68 or something and I picture someone doing a double-time flow and rocking it to pieces; let me know what you think!
  2. Alright, be ready for something a little odd with this one - - it's basically a bridge between an Odd Future and Mac Miller sound: http://www.soundclick.com/player/single_player.cfm?songid=11189241&q=hi&newref=1 The beat is supposed to have a very retro type vibe with the drums; it's meant to sound a lot more simple than it actually is. The drums are actually all layered a couple times over to give them a bit more brightness and presence than if I just used standard 808 drums right out the box. If you can't vibe with the beat, it's all good, it's definitely not meant for everyone but still let me know what you think! And don't just say "I don't like it", let me know what it is you don't like! It will help me a lot more!
  3. My buddy's been wanting me to make a beat that he could practice freestylin to so I came across this piano sample and made into a straightforward freestyle underground type beat: http://www.soundclick.com/player/single_player.cfm?songid=11178700&q=hi&newref=1 The chops switch up around the 1:00 minute mark for the second half of the verse so check that part out. Not a lot of variation, wanted to keep it pretty straightforward as it's more a beat to just throw on for a quick freestyle or battle - not really made for a full track or anything; maybe a quick mixtape thing or something - - let me know what you think!
  4. Don't know how to describe this track, it's like a 90's R&B track mixed with old school hip-hop but with a bit of exotic flavor thrown in: Original Sample: (Most of what I sampled comes from the first ~50 seconds) Flip: http://www.soundclick.com/player/single_player.cfm?songid=11166789&q=hi&newref=1 Picture it as a nice track to jam late at night while cruising around! Let me know what you think!
  5. Pretty straightforward beat with an Indie Rock sample: http://www.soundclick.com/player/single_player.cfm?songid=11151240&q=hi&newref=1 Most of the variation in is the guitar line; wanted to keep the drums flowing cause I picture someone just ripping this apart with a quick flow so I wanted to keep the attention on the artists flow for this one Let me know if you can vibe with the Indie Rock Poppy type vibe!
  6. Entered this in this week's 'Flip This' contest over at FutureProducers: Original sample: (Just listen to the first 25 seconds, that's where 95% of what I sampled comes from) My Flip: http://www.soundclick.com/player/single_player.cfm?songid=11129749&q=hi&newref=1 Let me know if you can dig the vibe! You can see everyone else's flips here: http://www.futureproducers.com/forums/production-techniques/flip/sunday-beat-battle-12-voting-thread-382970/
  7. glad you diggin it man! and yes the title is an homage to that martial arts classic!!
  8. Made this beat for a sample flip contest over at FutureProducers.com and took 1st place! http://www.soundclick.com/player/single_player.cfm?songid=11114803&q=hi&newref=1 Let me know what you think!
  9. R&B piano beat with a Sean Kingston/Iyaz type vibe and singer on the hook: http://www.soundclick.com/player/single_player.cfm?songid=11102429&q=hi&newref=1 Let me know if you dig the keys and you think the hook is sounding!
  10. Here's the original song: My 8Bit Cover: http://www.soundclick.com/player/single_player.cfm?songid=11071854&q=hi&newref=1 Let me know if you can dig!
  11. Sample: Flip: http://www.soundclick.com/player/single_player.cfm?songid=11066669&q=hi&newref=1 Let Me Know What You Think!
  12. thanks for the feed man! yeah, the Tyler association is pretty loose on this one, he's just the only artist I relate to this dark style, and it's definitely a much more "mainstream" type Tyler sound rather than most of his OFWGKTA type stuff which is much more like you described but I'm glad you could dig the music man! Gonna check out Rukunetsu and see what he's all about!
  13. New dark beat with a Tyler The Creator type vibe; switched it up with an autotune hook so it kinda throws it in a unique direction: http://www.AfterTouchBeatz.com (Beat should play automatically) Let me know what you think!
  14. New beat that mixes 8Bit with some modern sounds: http://www.soundclick.com/player/single_player.cfm?songid=10995453&q=hi&newref=1 (beat picks up around 0:30) FL Studio kept crashing on me so the beat is a little messy, let me know what you think! **Optional Reading/Interesting Facts** - - Main synth (that starts out at the beginning) is an 8Bit synth but has quite a bit of processing on it so it sounds more 16Bit with all the reverb and delay - - Bass, Snare, and Kick are all 8Bit sounds with non-8Bit sounds layered underneath them (to give them more presence and a more modern vibe) - - There are many different "pure" 8Bit sounds mixed in throughout the entire beat
  15. Sample beat with quite a bit of chops: http://www.soundclick.com/player/single_player.cfm?songid=10965997&q=hi&newref=1 Has a nice Mid-West summertime vibe; let me know what you think!
  16. Back with another space beat: MP3 Player SoundClick Somber but uplifting at the same time; has a nice piano hook and a couple different synths and drops throughout; let me know what you think!
  17. yeah, my mixing skills still needs to come up a bit more to really give my beats that extra push, especially when listening to them on different systems and yeah, the tag is in all the beats; the tags are only there so that people can't record the audio off the website and even more-so because all the beats are available for free with the catch that they are tagged. but if someone purchases a lease to the beat, then they get the untagged version; it's just to encourage people to purchase a lease instead of just downloaded the beat for free
  18. New beat that has a nice uptempo guitar and uplifting vibe: http://www.AfterTouchBeatz.com (1st beat on the page, should start automatically) Meant to be a song about recovering from a breakup or possibly a reflection on someone's death. Wanted to keep the drums really loose on this one to give it a more "lively" style but I might have gone a little overboard with it so let me know if you think the drums should be tightened up a bit or if you're diggin the natural style. Beat also doesn't have much variation at all but it does have a nice sampled chorus so check that out too! Let me know what you think!!
  19. My first sample beat I really chopped to pieces and created my own melodies out of the chops: http://www.soundclick.com/player/single_player.cfm?songid=10853889&q=hi&newref=1 Pretty psyched on how it came out cause I really spent some time chopping this one up and it all just started coming together nicely. Has that nice relaxed classic 90's hip-hop vibe
  20. Decided to switch up my website and go with a new layout with a more streamlined look and just uploaded a brand new beat so check out the new layout and the 2nd beat on the page: http://www.AfterTouchBeatz.com First beat in like 3 weeks; has a Kid Cudi vibe to it - - I really like how it sounds happy and yet gloom at the same time; came out sounding pretty interesting; let me know what you think of the beat and the new layout!
  21. DubStep Inspired Beat With Some Wobble Bass: http://www.soundclick.com/player/single_player.cfm?songid=10738176&q=hi&newref=1 Trying to merge dubstep with a more traditional song structure to suit it more as a hip-hop beat than a song to be listened to instrumentally - - thoughts?
  22. New sample beat called "The Dopeness" that has a sort of upbeat, energetic feel; reminds me of something MF Doom would do with the way I chopped it up http://www.AfterTouchBeatz.com (5th beat on the page - - the one with the MF Doom picture) Don't flip too many samples, I usually just do loops or pretty basic chops so this is definitely a little more intricate than what I usually do. What do you think of it? (also, let me know if you don't think this is MF Doom style; someone told me this is more 9th wonder style so if you don't leave any other feed at least just tell me what "type" of beat you think this is - - it'll help me in promoting it!)
  23. New relaxed sample beat meant for a intro or outro track: http://www.AfterTouchBeatz.com (First beat on the page, should play automatically) The first beat is a continuous build-up meant for someone to rap to up until the sample hook hits, then the full on verse hits and then it's done. Pretty quick, pretty simple; nice opening or closing track to set a mood or close it out...what do you think of it?
  24. Yeah, the voice was put in by me; it's not every couple seconds, it's at the beginning of the hook only, so it's only about once a minute The reason is that the beat is available for free with the tags, you have to buy the beat for the tagless so whether I put the beat on Soundclick, Soundcloud, YouTube, etc. it would be the same version with the tags.
