This song was rather enjoyable. I would gladly listen to this if I was stuck in an elevator, rather than regular elevator music.
I can imagine that if there was a video camera in that elevator, both Death and Dracula would be laughing hysterically at Simon freaking out on the video monitor.

Still amazing work. I always enjoy listening to your music.
I may not know Final Fantasy very well, I don't play the games, but I always enjoy listening to remixes of game soundtracks, even if I never played the games. Usually listening to a good remix of a game usually is what makes me try the game in the first place. That's how I started liking the Castlevania series, by listening to remixes of the soundtrack first.
I know I might be asking too much, if I am please tell me. Since you did make a "Heart of Fire" remix and it's still one of my all time favorite Castlevania remixes. I would really like to ask you to make an "Out of Time" remix, since there are very few remixes of that song and even fewer good ones. I won't ask for any other songs after this.

I still don't like the dubstep part with all the random noise to it. Otherwise it's an iincredibly beautiful song.
Just take out that dubstep part of it and it will be perfect.
I really like it.It is one of the most eerie versions of Phendrana Drifts that I've heard.
The things that I think you could change are the weird special effects noises thoughout the song because it seems to undermine the flow of the song.
Keep the violin and drums in it, but just get rid of those weird special effect noises, and I think it would be a great song, and eerie song.
I still agree with this.

Happy Birthday, you awesome remixer.
-
It's actually quite good. It sounds sad in the beginning but quickly changes into a different style. I really like it.
-
Can't believe there were people who disliked the guitar section.
It wasn't that I disliked the guitar section. I was that it seemed to break the flow of the song. It doesn't anymore. The song is alot better than the original post of it.
-
The song is much better. It really does keep the flow of the music. I really enjoyed listening to this version.

It sounds very eerie and I like how it starts off with very silient and grows in volume. I like the background chant-like noise. But would say that the bass is a little higher than it should be. Around the 2:30 mark is when it gets really good.
I would also say that it changes into a different type of music syle, like rock-type style and then a guitar playing, it just doesn't keep the flow for the song and will distract the listener when they switch. It's like when a song stops suddenly for the ending and switches to the next song, it's similar to that, in my opinion anyway.

Thanks
Do yu think this could be submitted as a remix for the site?
That I agree with. This song should be uploaded on to this site

Thanks for finishing it. It's really good. I was also the first to comment on the video as well.
When I first heard it, it sounded like you needed to turn up the treble. when I heard it a second time right afterwards I heard everything clearly.
Excellent work.

Very enjoyable to listen to. I enjoy listening to certain types of metal, especially video game music metal. I enjoyed listening to it. I do agree with evory about the music at 1:33 and 1:44. it doesn't seem to fit in with the song. Besides that it was really good.

This is a game that I will look forward to owning. Mainly so I can play Crystal shards, graphics may look bad, but I've only played a little bit of the game and it is fun.

HA!
I favorited this song on Youtube about three months ago.
Still one of the best remixes of Heart of Fire I've heard so far.
Yay! Mega Beardo is now part of OC Remix.

It's really good and I was getting chills from it.

There are actually some very good points being raised in this thread about social media marketing. The fact that it involves people to spread the word, and a lot of people don't like doing this, is a cause for concern that doesn't seem to be being addressed, possibly due to emotional involvement in the site and/or album in question.
What some people are failing to understand is that a lot of people don't take kindly to being told to share or tell people they should like things. Again, I don't care if this was or wasn't the intention, but this is how it comes across.
For me, the strength of OCR is its quality, which speaks for itself. By having such stringent quality controls, and already a strong fanbase, there shouldn't be a need to resort to these sorts of tactics, which come across as cheapening the site. I understand the desire to have as many people appreciate what we do as composers, remixers and contributors to the site, but it's way easier to get people to do things if you give them something first, then ask them to tell their friends, not the other way around.
I fully agree with you on this.
I tell my friends about how great this website is because of how much great music is on here. Being told to like this website or I can't listen to it's music anymore is just wrong. Let the people recommend the website over time, and don't enforce that they have to like it or else.

am i the only one that thinks that if you guys just released the album now that you'd hit a lot more than 27k likes on facebook? the more people that actually hear the album the more are likely to flock to ocremix, at least imo.
No, you are not, I agree with you. If they released the album, they probably would get more followers.
-
Except once the page hits 27,000, the album will come out, the campaign will be over, and your faces will be so melted from listening to this thing that you won't care anymore. So yes, it's not really an issue except for the few of you who are making it one right now.
Normally I don't make an issue out of anything, but when someone tries to convince you to do something like "friend them on facebook", just so they will do something, I find ridiculious.
Since I don't have a facebook or twitter account, I find it extremely annoying that if I want something released that I will have to create a facebook account just so they might. I'm not creating one and hopefully I never will.
-
Finally reached 25,000 likes. Just 2,000 more to go.
-
okay i understand the posts in the other thread aren't being deleted now, but seeing as how much of a response this non-issue is getting... wouldn't that make it an issue?
I would agree.
How much negative feedback it is receiving would make this an issue. Don't sweep it under the rug it's way too large to do so.
-
Check out youtube. I posted that they should just release it and look at the response I got from Brandon Strader.
-
+1 for you, that's exactly what I think. Your opinion, however, will be deleted pretty soon, like mine.
Already stated my opinion on youtube as well. So you can not stop me (maniacal laughter) hopefully.
Also it might actually cause more people to like them, so they will release the album sooner.
-
Are you kidding me? Asking for likes just so you would release the album.
I don't have a facebook page or a twitter account and I hopefully never will.
-
It is really good, it has a feeling of remorse and sadness to it, but also has a feeling of cheer as well.
I've always liked that song from Half-Life 2, and you did an excellent job at remixing it.
-
Haha... I think viking guitar inadvertently sabotaged his thread by posting that sexy axe cop.
I agree. It kind of loses its seriousness with that picture.
Even so, If I can get some money I will definitely help you out and donate.

It's good, but it still needs work. The sound is a bit muddy, and certain parts are overshadowed, and it ends abruptly, but if you fix those parts this song will be really good. It has potential.
