  1. Still amazing work. I always enjoy listening to your music.

I may not know Final Fantasy very well, I don't play the games, but I always enjoy listening to remixes of game soundtracks, even if I never played the games. Usually listening to a good remix of a game usually is what makes me try the game in the first place. That's how I started liking the Castlevania series, by listening to remixes of the soundtrack first.

I know I might be asking too much, if I am please tell me. Since you did make a "Heart of Fire" remix and it's still one of my all time favorite Castlevania remixes. I would really like to ask you to make an "Out of Time" remix, since there are very few remixes of that song and even fewer good ones. I won't ask for any other songs after this.

  2. I still don't like the dubstep part with all the random noise to it. Otherwise it's an iincredibly beautiful song.

Just take out that dubstep part of it and it will be perfect.

    I really like it.

It is one of the most eerie versions of Phendrana Drifts that I've heard.

The things that I think you could change are the weird special effects noises thoughout the song because it seems to undermine the flow of the song.

Keep the violin and drums in it, but just get rid of those weird special effect noises, and I think it would be a great song, and eerie song.

    I still agree with this.

  3. It sounds very eerie and I like how it starts off with very silient and grows in volume. I like the background chant-like noise. But would say that the bass is a little higher than it should be. Around the 2:30 mark is when it gets really good.

I would also say that it changes into a different type of music syle, like rock-type style and then a guitar playing, it just doesn't keep the flow for the song and will distract the listener when they switch. It's like when a song stops suddenly for the ending and switches to the next song, it's similar to that, in my opinion anyway.

  4. Very enjoyable to listen to. I enjoy listening to certain types of metal, especially video game music metal. I enjoyed listening to it. I do agree with evory about the music at 1:33 and 1:44. it doesn't seem to fit in with the song. Besides that it was really good.

  5. There are actually some very good points being raised in this thread about social media marketing. The fact that it involves people to spread the word, and a lot of people don't like doing this, is a cause for concern that doesn't seem to be being addressed, possibly due to emotional involvement in the site and/or album in question.

What some people are failing to understand is that a lot of people don't take kindly to being told to share or tell people they should like things. Again, I don't care if this was or wasn't the intention, but this is how it comes across.

For me, the strength of OCR is its quality, which speaks for itself. By having such stringent quality controls, and already a strong fanbase, there shouldn't be a need to resort to these sorts of tactics, which come across as cheapening the site. I understand the desire to have as many people appreciate what we do as composers, remixers and contributors to the site, but it's way easier to get people to do things if you give them something first, then ask them to tell their friends, not the other way around.

I fully agree with you on this.

I tell my friends about how great this website is because of how much great music is on here. Being told to like this website or I can't listen to it's music anymore is just wrong. Let the people recommend the website over time, and don't enforce that they have to like it or else.

  6. Except once the page hits 27,000, the album will come out, the campaign will be over, and your faces will be so melted from listening to this thing that you won't care anymore. So yes, it's not really an issue except for the few of you who are making it one right now.

Normally I don't make an issue out of anything, but when someone tries to convince you to do something like "friend them on facebook", just so they will do something, I find ridiculious.

Since I don't have a facebook or twitter account, I find it extremely annoying that if I want something released that I will have to create a facebook account just so they might. I'm not creating one and hopefully I never will.
