  1. Basically what an Overlay Remix (as I've coined it) is to remix a song through all means that do not involve editing and thus finding was to make it sound different by playing the song over itself. This can be choosing a few milliseconds before or after the original play to make it sound different or to play it over itself at a different speed, or with echo, but essentially the song is kept in it's original format but still made to sound changed. One of the reasons I've elected to do a remix this way is because I am not so good at editing music to make it sound different or creating pieces through programs such as Fruity Loops or Adobe Audition. But I think this turned out ok, so you guys can let me know if you like it. The mix will play normally for 4 bars and add another play file on itself every 4 bars for the next 6 plays, then it will take each new play away. The entire remix is comprised of this one 3 second jingle from the game: http://soundfxcenter.com/download-sound/balloon-fight-complete-sound-effect/ Anyway here it is: Download link: http://www.4shared.com/music/9ch7q-8q/Ballooon_Fight_Overlay_Remix.html
  2. Just updating this because I've created a video to go with it so you may enjoy watching it now www.youtube.com/watch?v=6JJWjylpyc
  3. Thanks, my talents aren't good enough for remixing, but I'm quite good at mega mixing I also try my hand at adding lyrics to game music.
  4. I posted it here because there was no more appropriate thread for these pieces.
  5. This is the last post I'll make for now. This is a cool idea I had to allow people to make their own mixes of songs or games without having to do the editing themselves so that it will always come out top-notch. I've pre-edited specific songs from the game Sonic Adventure 2: Battle so that each of the 3 base songs will inter-changeably flow perfectly whether the one song comes before or after another. This means that if you took "Song A" and put it in front of either "Song B" or "Song C" it would flow, vice versa any song from "A, B or C" will flow whether any other song from "A, B, or C" goes in front of it. This allows you to make your own individual mixes and I've also edited a intro for you in which you can choose between 3 of them (each one begins the song from one of the 3 base songs) and I've added 2 ending songs to choose from. Some advice though, don't use intros or endings for anything other than just that, as they won't transition properly. A quick tutorial on how to use this: You will download the .rar file containing all the edited songs (and two sample songs I made), and then all you need to do is to use a program that lets you place one file in front of another e.g "sound recorder, movie maker, audacity" just anything that can edit a file on another, then you choose the order and amount and whatever you want to do with the mix, and save it and your done. It's a really simple process, just download the files, place them, save and listen. I have made a more in-depth tutorial in case anyone should need it: And I also will show you 1 of the sample mixes just for you to see that this works well and I've edited them properly: I hope some of you might give this a try and let me know what you thought and/or post some of the mixes you make with this so everyone else (myself included) can hear them. Here is the download link for the .rar file: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=UQLIMLLU Also if you want to download the sample mix separately you can do so here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=C6YWSVM6
  6. Last mega mix I have atm, every song from the classic Sega game Gunstar Heroes. I couldn't get this on Youtube so you'll have to download it to hear it. Download link: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=SLDWJ3YE
  7. Just like the Sonic 1 mix, this comprises every theme used in the game, unfortunately there's no video for this one so you're gonna have to download it if you want to listen to it. Download link: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=6JHWIIFZ
  8. This is a mega mix of Sonic 1 which incorporates all of the themes used in the game, and as a added bonus, I've synched the audio to match the video being played. Youtube link: Download link: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=EH59CZTN
  9. This is a mega medley of at least half of the themes from this game, it uses the best songs in the best way, and is made to be played as one half-hour song. Enjoy. Download Link: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=J0VKTAEZ
  10. This is the "Ultimate Video Game Mega Mix", the largest collection of video game songs spliced together into one giant medley. I bring to you 100 songs from 100 series of video games, no two from the same series. In this mix are games from all eras: 80's, 90's and 00's, and a wide range of consoles: Arcade, PC, Nintendo, Sega, Playstation and Xbox. So sit back and grab a snack, cause here comes 90 minutes of solid Video Game Music. Youtube Link: To download this song: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=60QE3C2O
  11. A humorous parody of this classic song, leave your feedback either on the video page or this topic. If you'd rather download it and listen to it you can find it here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=HSNRU2ZE
