  1. have ordered Scarlet due to being more pretty
  2. Bought this yesterday and it's the best! A lot clearer sounding and more believeable than orkester and miroslav. I started playing with it and ideas came flooding in which is always the sign of a great refill. Some really emotional sounds in there and a lot clearer sounding than ork and mir
  3. hiya, I am looking for a usb audio interface and have narrowed it down to either of these two but cannot decide! Please help! this one (Scarlett) : http://www.amazon.com/dp/B005OZE9SA or this (Mackie) http://www.amazon.com/Mackie-Onyx-Blackjack-Recording-Production/dp/B003VZG550/ref=sr_1_1?s=musical-instruments&ie=UTF8&qid=1369262346&sr=1-1&keywords=mackie+blackjack thank you!
  4. Apply volume curves to string patches (assign volume or filter to mod wheel)... Makes for a more realistic sound! eg. Violins play a chord over 2 bars, start with volume very low gradually swooping louder.
  5. ewww I find Miroslav to be really poor! It sounds very mushy and cheap and if you look into the NNTXs you can see there's like only 1 or 2 layers in most sounds and they spread one sample over 4 or 5 notes a lot of the time. I'm desperate for something better. I am enjoying the free Comnbinator from Euphonic, it sounds very lifelike.
  6. Thank you! Unfortunately Google hasn't been good to me on this one And I have actually tried sampling off some of the David Attenborough shows on Netflix but the audio is always a bit buzzy. I'll keep hunting I guess.
  7. wow nice find! Sounds great... very tempted to go for it! (I rather liked the demos without the drums in.....a bit strange in places, but definitely interesting)
  8. BFD Core is my favourite as a Reason user... so super clean and dynamic, I LOVE it!
  9. I'm desperate for good tropical soundscapres... jungle etc... does anyone know where to get these? thx!
