Right on guys, thank you very much for the feedback. Nightlasher, I agree I probably could have toned down the drums a bit in some of the slower parts of the song. Gillstudio, I'll try working on my lead tone more. I haven't been doing this very long so any feedback or critique I can get is very helpful. Just finished up doing some tracks in the studio with my metal band so hopefully this coming week I can get another cover done. Thanks again for listening!

Awesome, thank you very much for the review Michael! I'll work on moving around some of the eq stuff like you said and I hope to make the next one better! I really wish I had a kit that I could use in my apartment but the drums I used were Superior Drummer 2 with the "Drum Kit From Hell" add-on and wrote most of the midi out myself. I'm still learning a lot about mixing and getting the right sounds, I'm currently working through the online "Introduction to Music Production by Loudon Stearns" through Berklee Music College so I hope to learn a lot that will help out with this stuff. I have a few more songs that I would eventually like to post on the forum and get some more feedback so maybe I'll drop another next week and learn more! Thank you again Michael for your help.
