I love the modern electro elements tossed in throughout... really appeals to my adoration for house/dnb. the subtle glitching works brilliantly as a transition without clogging up the soundscape's pipes, and I love the use of empty space to create contrast

well the zelda dubsteb guy has made a fuckton of money straight-up selling remixes of copyrighted vgm and nothing has happened to him yet afaik

this was my entry for a soundcloud-fueled remix competition. didn't place, but I'm still quite proud of the result, and wanted to honor it as an "official release" of sorts. used stems for this one, so it's heavily made up of samples... it's fast becoming my favorite way to work. sampling, I mean

Also, the music is the same old crap we've been listening to since Super Mario 64, much of it even older. There's really no redeeming quality in the soundtrack. They didn't even try with this game.

I'm more of a fan of the type of dubstep that goes by absolutely no musical order or structure. The kind that's more 'rough,' just goes fucking crazy, if you know what I mean.

wow, I think EVERYONE needs to stop assuming shit about these supposed "voting politics" because it's coming across as exceedingly pretentious.
just because you think your remix deserved more votes doesn't mean it did. everyone hears music differently. it's subjective.
can we please stop taking this so seriously and get back to making music for fun?
