Its been awhile since I last posted in these forums (for no particular reason really) but this definately is something that has come to my close attention to make an appearance.

The remixer collab involved with so many tracks in this awesome soundtrack makes my mouth water.

I look forward to the next 6 months for sure!

[OCR01042 - Legend of the Mystical Ninja "Asian Twilight"]

Freemind said it best "revolutionary"

Gray is really evolving right now as one of the elite mixers on this site and this mix is no exception!

Wow its got everything it seems a real nice ethnic atmospheric feel and a very nice touch on the voice sampling you have going on in this.

I think its great that the drums dont overpower it they are done really nicely I noticed that right off the bat.

This I am sure is only the start of his creativity and I am so looking forward to all future mixes.

[OCR01021 - Final Fantasy VII "Fluss der Liebe"]

Oh I love Collabs they are always great to listen to in my mind because they add the style of more than one artist. But anyways about the song which has always been one of my favorites. The ambient water sounds are a very nice touch reminds me of wingless's SOM Water Palace theme he did way back. I think Gray, DarkPrinceLuca, Israfel and freemind did a great job on this and definately would like to see them get together and produce another fine mix.

[OCR01024 - Secret of Mana "Drifting Towards the Stars"]

I really dig this mix.....very calming, ambient and slow.

I dont see why the judges were less positive about this, its a nice change of pace for music normally heard here.

Definately recommended this mix for all those who want a great tune to just sit back and relax to.

[OCR01011 - Final Fantasy VII "Philharmonic Suite: Part I"]

Excellent orchestral arrangement from the site newcomer Jeremy Robson but to me he isnt a newbie I have heard much of his work years ago it seemed. He has done many other excellent FF arrangements most notably FF6's locke's and sabin's themes in the exact same kind of epic style as this one and also a FF megamix of various themes which is on his mp3.com site that is sure to please all you orchestral lovers out there.

This definately caught my attention not too repetative and a very nice choice of instruments used in this arrangement. Overall very nice work and definately worth a listen or two.

[OCR00991 - Final Fantasy IV "Over and Under"]

Holy shit this is some pretty sweet tunage silent I didnt expect anyone to pull off something like this before!!. Awesome job on the vocals and guitar work definately one of the most unique remixes on this site by far!

Wow just got back from camping and I am thrilled to finally see your Shevat mix up. If I havent said it enough I will say it again definately one of your finest works Gray.

Very smooth, great atomosphere and use of instruments what is there not to like in this? its all good in my mind.

[OCR00977 - Final Fantasy VI "Kefka Goes Carnival"]

Great take on da famous Kefka theme definately one I shall remember for a long time. This one kinda brings an image of him actually running his own carnival with circus freaks (him included) and magic tricks.

Yeah this is totally one of my favorite CT mixes all the way back when I first heard it on vgmix and definately deserves to be recognized here aswell.

Beautifully done in very much the same style as AE, so more of a reason why I cant wait to hear more from j:/drive in the future!!!

[OCR00899 - Final Fantasy VI "Dancing Madly (First Form)"]

I thought this was a pretty cool take on the theme that actually hasnt been covered by anyone except virt in my mind. I thought waxingeloquent did a good job of not making it sound so repetative as when I remember him working on it earlier was. So great job man I hope to see the other 3 parts to complete this masterpiece up on OC in the future.

[OCR00897 - Ogre Battle "Zenobia's Grave: A Champion Has Risen"]

I really enjoyed your guys take on this theme I first heard this way back on vgmix before it went down it sounds very epic much like something you would hear from the soundtrack of LOTR. I especially liked the unique vocals you guys added to this piece it makes it stand out very uniquely. As for the instruments "not" sounding totally real maybe for someone like Russell its a problem its just personal preference thats all but you know it doesnt take away anything from the works you have done MD I absolutely loved all the remixes you did and do look forward to hearing more from you in the future.

[OCR00871 - Chrono Trigger "Lesser Kerubic Patchwork"]

Seriously you know I have always loved your masterpeices back on vgmix and I always wondered when it would make its appearances here on OC because I knew without a doubt you would be put here with some of the best artists to date. I throughly enjoyed your takes on FF7 One Winged Angel, FF6 Veldt, LOZ3 Church just to name a few off the top of my head. I sure hope to hear those also on OC in the near future because they rock!

Mustin is right dont give up on your music, I think your very talented and I very much enjoyed your take on the summer sky tune.

So dont be discouraged by any means because none of us are perfect and I can see greatness in you so just keep it up and I shall very much look forward to your next mix.

[OCR00699 - Final Fantasy VI "Let Us Dance in the Dark Phantom Phorest"]

This is awesome!!!!

I have seen alot of remakes of this theme but they have all been subpar but this is by far the best version I have ever heard!!!

I really liked the strings and the "gothic" feel to it. The cymbal doesn't quite fit in though I think, but that does not take away from the great arranging job you did. Choir and drums help add to the atmosphere, and I particularly liked the piano at the end. I hope to hear more from you in the future.

[All Time Hardest Boss]

Impressive to beat him without Cid and be able to acquire Zodiac the best summon of them all at the same time. I guess I didnt want to fool around with that boss considering at the point of the game all your levels are like at 99 and you got all the magic and weapons. As for Velius well that was like the first zodiac battle in the game and it was very early too so you didnt have time to build your levels or get great equipment so yeah that makes sense for him to be difficult.

[All Time Hardest Boss]

Call me weak if you'd like but I found Velius in FFT amazingly difficult. I actually shut off the game and started a new slow because I could not beat that guy.

Velius was easy I used mostly Summoners against him. I dont think there was any real hard bosses in FFT I think the only hardest one I had to face was Elidibs which was a secret boss at the bottom of the deep dungeon but that was a walk in the park if you had TG Cid in your party.

[OCR00690 - Metal Gear Solid 2 "Metal Gear May Cry"]

Jared does it again! Yet another masterpiece that I absolutely love.

[OCR00349 - Super Mario Bros. 3 "Swingin' Porno Mix"]

Holy Momma Mia!!!!!! This is some crazy and very disturbing shit going on here. I dont think I can ever look at Mario and Luigi the same again after listening to this.

[OCR00631 - Secret of Mana "Aphrodite Oceanus"]

This is definately one of my favorites of all time so peaceful and tranquil. I loved the effects Wingless put over the piano giving it a real nice water rippling effect. Those shimmering crystal bells or whatever they sound like are amazing. Terrific Job!

[OCR00206 - Final Fantasy VI "Terra in Black"]

This is definately one of my most favorite of all time. When this first came out I was just blown away because at that time there was no game music as great as what Ailsean did. Truely one of the cornerstone masterpieces of all game music remixes.

[OCR00632 - Zelda II "Temple Trance"]

I thought Blind did an awesome job in remixing the temple theme in Zelda 2. Very fast paced with a solid 4/4 beat mixed in with some sweet trance synths, kind of similar to the trance styles of the famous FFMusicDJ.

You've gotta check it out for yourself because I definately recommend it.

[OCR00584 - Final Fantasy VII "String Machine (Corel Prison Mix)"]

This is definately the best remix Haroon has done in my mind. Totally trancey and a great flow to the song from start to finish. My favorite part was the bridge he used at 2:41 that was the best part.

[OCR00605 - Punch-Out!! "Little Mac's Confession"]

This is one of my most favorite game remixes of all time. Game Over did an outstanding job on this and adding the lyrics made it that more special. The only problem I had with this song was they should have used better drums, I just feel that all rock music should come with great drums too. But overall an outstanding remix from a very talented music group and I cant wait to hear some more of their latest work.
