Ralphis, if you don't submit that to OverLooked, I'm going to do it for you.

I think this may be my best work yet.
I am in awe. I want to make that a sticker for my sax case!

I figured when halc said this:
Rock, ska, metal and other associated genres are also welcomed.that something like this would happen
SO DO IT!

if it ain't baroque, don't fix it! well I did anyway...

NODSPAW would be proud. No idea this was happening but glad to see a project that's already cleared the hurdle of having the entire tracklist filled out.
Off-topic: BAHAMUT VERSUS POCKETMAN FIGHT TO THE DEATH!! seriously all you guys do is projects

It's a good thing I wasn't wearing pants when I listened to this! Man, it's badass now, but when we put some live horns up in there...goddamn.
Also, update: I've got my shiny new mike and interface...only to find out that it didn't come with a mike cable But I've got one on the way, so I'll be good to go in no time!

If they stop using the OOT formula then what do they do?
I mean what is the OOT formula? Are we talking about the play style (3rd person find temple, get item, kill boss, get heart, find next temple... ...)
First three temples, get master sword, following temples (however many plus final), Ganon boss = OoT formula.
Since they are going to be using Wii MotionPlus, I am excited, because the swordplay in Wii Sports Resort got frustratingly difficult at the end of the Reverse stages, and that's what we need to do: get frustrated at Zelda once again.

This is hot, dude. It sounds alright now with the fake sax, but it'll sound amazing with live sax. I agree that the so-called 'ending' might not be the best direction to go in, but it might fit well later in the mix, depending on where you take it.
I look forward to more!

Broken link, yo.

if there is ever another kirby project, ill just make some new ones
aka do your own milky way wishes remix album
you know you want to

If they are still planning on making it HD, and thus only PS3 and 360, that would be a disappointment. But I guess if Sonic Team is still under the assumption that their 'true' fan-base lies with PS3 and 360 owners, then that's that. Plus I have no idea how much effort it would take to make a non-HD version at this point.

So I don't know if this is your first mix or not, but this is nice. Every time the melody plays it has something new and different about it, and the structure seems concise.
That said, the arrangement is pretty bland. The key change towards the end was decent; there's nothing wrong about it, but there are other ways of doing it besides just abruptly. The heartbeat that comes in at :10 threw me off the first time. Maybe tweaking with the sound to make it more pronounced instead of an off-beat bass note. Also, 1:41 is pretty short; I'm sure you could throw some original ideas in there or something and extend it.

thats just stupid, IM talking about just megaman (original series)games.
No one would make a Megaman (1) remix project.
Because...
- k-wix only wanted to focus on the music of Mega Man 9
- we already have a Mega Man 4 project
-
Vurez already did a Mega Man 6 project (although be missed some good tunes but not important)
- Mega Man 2 & 3 do not need albums unless they have restrictions (ie. all piano mixes, or all in the style of Enya)
Just cuz someone else wants to have a project spanning a series doesn't mean someone else has to change theirs. I'm sure we'll have more Mega Man projects in the future.

Taken, and I totally did not read the thread either.

I think Arek is just stalling so he can claim "longest OCR project in the making" title from Super Dodge Ball after it gets released.

Maybe you're noticing similarities between that and the Requiem theme from Ninja Gaiden? (It's in these two remixes here and others on other sites: http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR00867/, http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR00934/)
Before I read this post, the theme was going through my head and then all of a sudden I heard:
SOME GUY, HE DIED, AND PEOPLE CRIED. WHEN PEOPLE DIE YOU TEND TO CRY.

You could have picked up on the "E" for Everyone, since the ESRB first started using that in 1998.
-
you really ought to just go ahead and stick this in your sig and be done with it
amennnnnnn

For OverLooked ReMiX, I see this as in need of some humourous sound clips/fart noises. Otherwise I'm sure we'd accept it.
For here at OverClocked, you should probably start from scratch like people have said. Not to discourage you or anything, but it doesn't seem like you know what you are doing in terms of arrangement. You've just thrown the melody around assuming it fits anywhere, when clearly that's not the case.
Get some new ideas and then try toying with the arrangement.

I feel like less of a musician now.
naw, not really.
