Hey, I have a question about The Sonic 3 and Knuckles theme.
I've been following the project since October of last year (around the same time that I discovered Chrono Symphonic), and I never remembered seeing the Sonic 3 and Knuckles theme in the song list. Did you guys already have a remix of that theme ready before you added it to the song list, or did you just realize you haven't remixed it yet and are working/have worked on it since you added it to the song list?

Has anyone heard the track "Caution Echidnas May Eat Your Brain" It's the remix to the MiniBoss Theme to Sonic 3 I was just wondering cuz I would like to hear it I'v been waiting forever to heard a Remix of this track.
It's on the project. You'll have to wait til the project is released before you can listen to it.

Yes. when the project is released... It does mention that you might have to unlock them somehow. I'm sure this wont be a big deal.

Collect 7 or 14 emeralds? Get all emblems? Press up, down, left, right, A and start at the title screen?
Judging that this is Sonic 3 & Knuckles, we'd have to collect the 7 Chaos Emeralds, and then the 7 Super Emeralds, along with the special Golden Emerald.
Or we could press <, <, ^, ^, >, >, while hanging on the first vine in Angel Island Act 1 to unlock the Sound Test.
If it's like the Sonic 3 standalone version, UUDDUUUU as Sonic flies in on the title screen, I think I'm going to shoot someone.
Anyone who's ever tried it will know what I'm talking about...
I've tried that cheat around 200 times...
And I only got it to work TWICE

Hahahha I just heard MP3s of the Sonic And Knuckles collection, they fucked up Carnival Night too!? hahaha
But one cool thing they did was add a kick ass arpeggio at the end of Final Boss, I think I'll go ahead and add that to my song as well!

Hey all,
I was wondering, is this going to be an online-only release? Or are you going to do what OneUp Studios did and release it on a mastered CD set and all that good stuff?
We should have like, a special account, PayPal or otherwise, to do stuff like this. People donate, and then the guys running the show can use it to pay for mastering the CDs, getting the album art and all that good stuff, and then sell it to us OCers. I certainly wouldn't mind donating a bit here and there, and then buying the final product.
But great work on the site and the tracks that are there! Can't wait!

You can't.
All the songs are copyright to Sega, and you cannot sell remixed versions of these songs without permission from Sega. OneUpStudios had permission from Sega to sell the songs they remixed. I'm guessing that OCR gets away with this because all the songs are given away without profit.

Hey, I have a question about Starting line. It's not gonna just be on the data select screen, right? Is the theme song gonna be in it, cause that would be a great beginning, to have the theme song of Sonic and Knuckles in the beginning of the song before transitioning to the data select screen.
If you don't want to tell me, that's ok. I'm just curious.
Can't wait! This project will kick some serious ass!

It's been a while since I checked this thread out. Thanks for the great comments everyone.
As far as the name of the song is concerned, It's About Time is named because Flashman's weapon is the time stopper. Everyone recognizes the long intro so of course it's about time when it actually leads into the main theme. I wanted to construct the song so that whenever I finish another megaman 2 mix it'll lead into the flashman mix smoothly.
Anyway, i simply wanted to test out my synth's capabilties when i first got it and this remix is what came about.
I've never heard the original tune this is for, I confess, I've never played Mega Man...but this tune sounds a lot like Chicago - I'm a Man
now that's funnyThis mix is amazing. it is definitely one of my favorite OC remixes.
And the rest of your music is amazing!
