Finally a great rock/metal track that isn't by Goat, and finally a great remix of Magus' theme.
I stand corrected. By myself, no less

I'm pretty sure someone probably said this fuck...Shao Kan in MKIII...jesus christ impossible like
Three words: Baraka, Blade Fury.
Otherwise: the only other solution

The MGS bosses, as I recently discovered, are quite challenging on any level higher than Very Easy... which until recently was the only level I played at.
Heresy, I tell you! The bosses were meant to be fought at Normal or higher. Vamp in MGS2 took me one helluva long time to beat, not to mention Metal Gear RAY.

The whole mix has a Dream Theater-ish feel to it, IMO. Thumbs up!

I'm trying to get my old Yamaha PSR300 to work with FL, but no luck so far. I've hooked it up to the MIDI port of my soundcard, but I can't get it configured properly in FL. Anyone know what I need to do?

I'm currently in the planning stage of my first remix, and for the first part I need a few sound effects. I'm looking for them myself ATM through Google, but a nudge in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
The sounds I need:
- Various chainsaw noises
- Walking/running on grass
- Panting and heavy breathing as if someone's running
- Male voice shouting "Oh God help me!" or similar
- Blood splattering or suitable surrogate
- Ripping through flesh
Any help, as said, would be greatly appreciated.

Re-posting my message as well:
When trying to import a MIDI into FL5, it imports normally, but when trying to play it I can't hear a thing. Any idea what could be causing this?

For some reason, it has an anime-ish sound to it, especially the last bit. Great stuff

Still listening to it right now, but god-frickety-damn, this has to be the best remix of the Moon Theme ever.

KAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHN!
Godammit, that was my line!
Maybe not THE hardest boss ever, but quite a tough one, was the skeleton on the ropebridge in Prince of Persia 2. I'm sure everyone who's played that game has been done in more than once by that fucker

I'd never played Gunsmoke till yesterday, and I immediately envisioned a remix of the great music. Then I remembered there was a remix or two at OCR, but I never checked them out, so I got this one.
My opinion: WOW. Just wow. I would've preferred if it started off with some The Good The Bad & The Ugly style whistling, but it's an excellent remix nonetheless.

Three words:
This remix pwns.

Bart did excellent work capturing the desert/sci-fi atmosphere of Dune. One of my favorites.
Funny side-note: Klepka sounds a bit like Klepacki, don't it?
(Frank Klepacki composed the original Dune music, along with several other Westwood games)

Wow. Guitar work reminiscent of Eduardo Gouveia (check out his MI remixes here), great atmosphere, and overall, Kyrandian goodness. Definitely one of my favorite OCRs.

To quote Rayden:
"Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant."

The gasp at the start really cracked me up Good one Mazedude!
The vocals add some goodness to the atmosphere, and the overall tune is a very good one.
-
Yeah! Another remix would just be awesome. Maybe the tune from the cave (the same tune from Catacomb 3D).
-
Definitely one of my favorite remixes on the site. A gripping and atmospheric tune that'll haunt you till the end of your days. Excellent job on bringing back a golden tune and making it 200-karats gold.
-
The start of the song is a great variation on the (already) excellent opening tune. The other tunes capture the mood of the game perfectly as well. Excellent work.
-
I was expecting that great song from the first level, but it's just as good. Really happy tune with some good "funk" if you catch my drift.
-
Excellent resurrection of a classic tune. My compliments, analoq. You really made my day when I first listened to this song.
Except I'm wondering... what does the voice at the start of the song say?

Jesus MOTHER****ING Christ the world's gone mad. I just read through all 93 goddamn pages of this thread.
After reading this thread, I made a list of bosses that gave me trouble...
Well, first of all, the last boss in Beyond Good & Evil. OMFG. Sure, he's easy when he's throwing Pey'J and Double H clones at ya, but when the platform gets surrounded by water and the floating eye thing attacks you in person... you gotta do EVERY MOVE IN THE EXACT CORRECT ORDER or it's curtains. He appears at one side, you wait to long and he hits you. You hit him, he teleports to another side to attack. I figured out the pattern when he appeared where after a while of dying and retrying, but when he appeared above me I was stumped... until I remembered I could dodge. Then he reversed the controls on me (the " you're losing control of your spirit" cutscene will haunt me forever for unskippability) and he handed my ass to me even harder. And he just kept on spewing alien language and "surrender Shauni" lines at me. My God, that guy pissed me off. Why was he trying to kill me if he needed Jade to survive? I was so relieved when I finally witnessed Jade thrust her Dai'jo in that damn critter's eye. TAKE THAT YOU SON OF A BITCH!!!
Next: the bosses in the Mortal Kombat games. Goro: 4 arms, fire balls, 100% killer instinct. He grabs you, it's all over, baby. Same goes for his tiger-striped pal from MK2, Kintaro. He kept stomping me, no matter what. Even tried Cage's ball breaker (hey, it worked against Goro in the movie)... I finally figured out a strategy to beat him, but then came Shao Kahn. THAT GUY WAS A FUCKING NIGHTMARE. Only with a handful of chars could I beat that guy. Baraka (blade fury, chop chop chop ), Shao Kahn (triple fireballs all the way) and some others. Recently I found a cheat to activate one-hit kills on the PC version... I finally got revenge for all the times I lost. DIE BITCH!!!
Then comes MK3. Motaro... ugh. Don't get me started. Shao Kahn... why'd he even come back? HE DIED IN MK2. But for some reason he came back with more insane moves and powers. Only through a few quirks was I able to beat both these fuckers.
Braindead 13 (a game from the guys that made Dragon's Lair; interactive cartoon: right button, right time, or it's curtains). The final scene is totally unbeatable without a walkthrough. And just when you think it's over... SQUASH! There comes a piano.

One of my first (and favourite) OCRs. Great tune, great lyrics, greatness all over!
Anybody happen to have the lyrics, by the way? They're not in the song's review on the site.
