You can listen to the n64 track here, or from the Paper Mario Chiptunes pack(under the filename "s64 - Sad Sun.miniusf") I mostly want to hear it with proper instruments, or at least a more realistic soundfont. I really hear some strong Spanish guitar influences in the song, definitely want that guitar included.

These are without a doubt, my favorite games of all time, all with wonderful soundtracks, and I have to say I'm surprised there was so little content for them! I would love to hear them remastered by some of the amazing talent found here. I know specificity is preferred in these posts, but there's no way I could pick just a few tracks from these games. My only musical-style note would be preferably no metal, but hey, you do you. I know this obviously isn't a quick and easy overnight thing, but I'm crossing my fingers and looking forward to some bomb remixes!

This is my first attempt at remixing/arranging a VGM song - I did this for InsaneInTheRainMusic's challenge, and i just wanted to share this with this wonderful community that has provided me with insight and inspiration (as a lurker) for a long time now. Can someone remix this particular song? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D2Boj148iCU from the beginning to about 48 seconds in. This song is lovely and almost like a lullaby. There's a version called 'mario and peach's theme', but the instruments are different and the song is more like an old music box than the beautiful melody in the start. Theeeen it turns into bowser's song and ruins it, but if someone could remix it without it, you'd have my eternal gratitude. For the genre, umm, kinda like some of the softer NiGHTS remixes. 'Lucid Dream Latent Gate', 'Beyond the Dream', and 'Reverse Rain' are the ones that first come to mind. Thanks all around for taking the time to read this.

Originals: (Best version ever ) Remix: https://soundcloud.com/killing-pepsi/toccata-and-fugue-in-doopliss-minor-wip-1 This project has been on the back-burner for a few years now, and last winter I listened to the Canadian Brass version of toccata and fugue in d minor and thought, "Hey, that sounds like the Doopliss battle theme a little". So I put in some parts from toccata (most aren't in this rendered version/intro sounded too cheesy) and I wanted to pick this remix back up again this summer. The transitions aren't great and some drum sounds aren't set, but most of the outline sans intro of the track is relatively there. I also started out with the mini-boss theme, don't know why.
