basic arrangement, but does the whole headbanger thing pretty well -djp

djpretzel,

this email has been a long time coming. I know there are hordes

of megaman 2 remixes, but how many artists do you know that have

an entire game soundtrack to show for it. Submitted for your

approval is "flashmetal", a thrash, speed metal cover of the

flashman theme. All drums are done (from scratch) in Fruityloops

3 and all guitars are ibanez.

link:

there are a few remixes there, all samples from the album.

flashman is all I'll submit for now though, as per your request.

Hope to hear from you soon,

This mix is kinda short. The guitars don't do it for me at all. They just don't sound nice to my ears, and the drums are quiet at the beginning of the mix. From 1.16-1.30 and 1.45-1.59 the snare sounds like a gun, the arrangement isn't much, and I really wanna say

ok the song is called flashmetal, but the link has neither, it has flashman, and wilymetal. i'll assume i'm supposed to review the "flashman" song.

some small guitar errors in the intro having to do with timing. :40 guitar sounds out of tune.

there isnt enough low end in the mix. do my ears decieve me, or is there just no bass guitar at all?

there are still timing issues, and i know its tough to keep time, but it sounds sloppy.

i hate the drums.

This mix is too short, and it sticks pretty closely to the original. rock out, man. throw in an interlude, a solo, anything. and you need more bass.
