dillanova
When I play recordings in Logic Pro 8, I don't get any sound. It accepts my MIDI keyboard, records fine, and the little visualizer jumps up and down when I play the track, as if there is sound. But, as I've stated, there is no sound. I'm currently using a Mac Mini which I purchased in the summer of '06. If it may be a problem with my sound card, I'll pull up the specs, but before I do that, I'm wondering if there may be some other problem associated with this. audio fidelity
well if everything is setup correctly in your audio preferences inside logic then you should be hearing sound with the associated soundcard your using are you just monitoring out of coreaudio or are you using an audio interface? Patrick Burns
I don't know your knowledge level and don't want to come across as condescending, but have you selected an instrument in the channel strip? Logic has a little level meter on the arrange window channels that reacts to audio in audio tracks, but on instrument channels it only reacts to midi data. So, on an instrument channel, you could have the level meter jumping up and down without having any sound being produced if you didn't have an instrument selected on it's input.
