djpretzel Posted September 20, 2003 Posted September 20, 2003 I sent you an email a little while back as 'KVMike' with a Banjo song that seems to have disappeared, but no worry, I've got a better one now anyway (and I've decided I don't want to be called KVMike anyway, I'd rather be MikeHive like my AIM nick, if that's okay). It's from Conker's Bad Fur Day on the N64 (it's been my mission to get the first Conker mix in, 'cause I think that game has the most infectuous music ever...). I call this one 'Windy Meadow'; it's sort of a happy, orchestral reworking of the main theme of the game. I hope it is up to scratch. ~MikeHive
Protricity Posted September 24, 2003 Posted September 24, 2003 The bird fx are pretty cute, as is the whole of the song. The wind sfx is rather out of place. The song itself is way short. Not much is going on here aside from a simple half-way arrangement of the main theme. Go for around 4 minutes instead of 1 and improve on the arrangement. NO
Vig Posted September 27, 2003 Posted September 27, 2003 yeah...from the second this thing started i knew it was a remix from a rare game. this is the cutest damn thing i've ever heard. unfortunately, the arrangement doesnt really improve on the original, it just repeats. and it's way too short. NO
Malcos Posted October 4, 2003 Posted October 4, 2003 This is very short. The sounds are nice, but I didn't feel as if the style was different enough from the orginal - this may have had a chance to manifest had the mix been longer. NO
Digital Coma Posted October 6, 2003 Posted October 6, 2003 Whoa wait, I'm not playing an N64? This sounds like it came straight from the game. Are the sounds all sampled from BFD? The sample set is very chirpy. Anyway, try not to literally copy the original melody. NO
