Please tell me the name of this music piece

Greetings.

First of all, sorry if this is the wrong forum to post this.

I badly want to find out the artist/name of a music piece I came upon, but, after several postings on other forums, I have no luck.

The reason for which I came to these forums is kinda weird, but here goes: I initially thought the piece was by some metal band, but then the idea hit me: "Hm, this is very melodic; it reminds me of videogame music..." And so, I tried here. It might be a desperate attempt, but I really wanted to find out.

Could you guys help me?

The song in question starts at 0:35 into this video:

Thanks. :)

It sounds tantalizingly familiar... Almost like a Sixto Sounds mix. The video was made by www.replays.net and the song might just be some instrumental rock. I watched the second half (where there was a Bryan Adams song?) but they did not include credits.

Later: I found the video at its source page (again, no credits). The comments below it list off a few of the songs, including Bryan Adams. That makes me think that the song is listed in there. I tried translating the comments (they are in Chinese) but could not find anything useful (maybe it's called "dragonsnake"?). A bunch of people wrote in asking the same question.

Sorry I'm not much more help...

EDIT: here's that site.

Ah, I have some more info on the song, which I should have mentioned in my first post, but forgot. The first time I heard this piece was about 2005, in another video by replays.net. Therefore, if it was made by a resident remixer, it is from 2005 or prior.

Yeah, I'm aware of the source site.

I just went through translating all the comments, and, as you said, many people have asked the same question, but no one answered. Interestingly, someone was so interested to find out, that he spammed the question over and over, which has apparently led to his comment being marked as spam. :-P

Here's what I have tried so far to find the song's name:

- Asked on a couple of forums.

- Consulted a guy who is VERY knowledgable about metal.

- Used a programme called Tunatic, which is designed specifically for the purposes of finding out the name/artist for you.

- Posted the song on a local video site, asking for help.

None of this has helped thus far.

My last resort, since I can think of nothing else to try, is to track the email of either of the two guys who did the videos and ask them personally.

Update:

I tried a few more tune-identification methods to no avail. I asked on a specialised forum for unknown tracks, but didn't get any help there either. I tried emailing the guy who did the first video, in which I heard the song, but it's a dead address. And I cannot find a way to contact the author of the second video.

It seems I have to postpone my search for the song indefinitely, until I hear it elsewhere.

Thanks to SLyGeN and glasfen for their help. :)

UPdate #2:

Just as I was about to give up, a new trail appears.

The guitar riff in this is very, very close. However, nothing else matches. My guess is that what I'm looking for is actually a remix. However, ocremix doesn't have any remixes on Dynasty Warriors OST. Stumped again. :[
