Think about it - the inspiration for this website is the promotion of video game music - itself an innovation of the post-Atari 2600 age. Composers for video games had little to work with in the NES and SNES eras, yet some of the catchiest tunes are from that time. Kondo's Mario Bros Theme is world-recognized, despite its inherent simplicity. This community takes the music of a time when video game sounds were evolving from 'blip-bloop' noises to actual music, and turns it into modern work. Innovation, thy name is OCRemix. I'm really open in terms of music - I dislike chance music, though. 4'33 and other such stunts are good stage shows, but not music. I'm a huge Boards of Canada/mu-ziq/Bola fan.
