sosolidshoe Posted December 13, 2009 Share Posted December 13, 2009 Hey there, just found this site through the article about your 10th Anniversary on The Escapist, so first off: Congrats Hopefully you guys can help me find some suitable music for my gaming needs. Im an avid player of EvE Online, and Im a fan of the atmospheric, space age music soundtrack of said game. Indeed, I enjoy most types of electronic music, from House to DnB. My issue is, Im not a huge "music guy". By that I mean, I like music, and when I hear something I like I try and aquire it, but I tend to go on recommendations and chance discovery rather than panning the dross to locate the nuggets of gold. Im looking for suggestions for artists, compilations or individual tracks in two "areas" right now, the first being the almost new-age atmospheric electronica of EvE(think the slower tracks from the Blade Runner OST), the second being music with a similar baseline("spacey" if that makes any sense, heh) but faster paced and more visceral(an example being End Theme from the aforementioned OST). In both cases, I would much prefer instrumental tracks over ones with vocals, although I make exceptions for "epic" tracks in the vein of E.S. Posthumus, or mixes which include Gregorian chant.
