djpretzel
This is from Jupiter Dynamica, real name Ben Prunty. The original song is from Super Metroid; it's the really short piece that plays at the entrance to Tourian, where the statues are blocking Samus' path. website is http://www.jupiterdynamica.com/ You can email me at Ben@jupiterdynamica.com Thanks a lot, really! -Ben
Vig
not bad, but there isnt very much to this remix. not that there was very much to the original. it might be minimalist, but in order for minimalist music to work, there really need to be excellent samples. the strings just dont cut it, and there's little arrangement. Digital Coma
Ambience doesn't work when the most instruments you have playing at once is less than three, and what little you have isn't even appealing. The synth strings are wimpy, the phaser boring, and the fx not enough. Create a full, enveloping sound. NO
Malcos
I concur with Digi Coma, the texture is much too thin to be ambient, and the sounds themselves are largely unchanging. Keep listening to ambient pieces and see how much they use reverb, delay and panning to achieve the effect. NO
