djpretzel
Hey DJP, this is a new submitter. My name is Julian Gamble, but my artist name is Lionaje. This song is called Breaking it down with the Boss, because it is the boss theme for megaman x 5 for ps. This song was completed in the year 2101... i mean 2004. I put a id3v2 tag on it with the information required. The remix can be found at the following link, thanks for your time . __________________________________________________________ Sign-up for Ads Free at Mail.com http://www.mail.com/?sr=signup
Protricity
Strings out of tune. Really annoying. Lots of sfx and simple loops, but little real arrangement. Low fidelity. NO
Vig
lots of wierd harmonic flubs. the lead is interesting, but on the whole, the mix is inferior to the original. dont get me wrong, i hear some good stuff in here, and there are some interesting ideas, but it needs a little more substance. Malcos
Lots of off-key stuff in here, particularly in the beginning between the strings and the sample chord. In addition, it doesn't look good if you use 2 raw Rex loops as your main percussion, it's too obvious and makes you seem like a novice. Good ideas, but not so good execution. Needs work. The wingless
Interesting... But it seems to suffer from what I like to call the "Cottoncandy Syndrome" where its all fluff, and offers little to no nutritional value. That is to say, the bulk of this piece is ornamental and decadant, but without the substantive material to hang all that decadence on. It's got too much fluff, yah see? As it stands right now, it's a great intro, or foundation layer for a lead part to jump in and steal the show. But beyond that, it simply cannot stand on its own. Baby, you've got the candles... now you need the birthday cake! NO
