Emunator Posted April 26, 2010 Share Posted April 26, 2010 Well, Youtube's quality isn't very good so it doesn't help make things any better, but I can tell that your mixing is pretty flat anyway. Everything pretty much stays in the same few octaves for most of the song and it doesn't ever feel like your song is climaxing or going anywhere. This is compounded by the fact that your arrangement doesn't have much of a dynamic curve, and there's a distinct lack of transitions or a solid ending. It feels like it's just plugging along at a constant pace without ever evolving or going anywhere, so throw in some breakdowns, buildups, transitions, or whatever you need to give the arrangement a bit more direction Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
