FuryVII
I am doing a Senior Design project at my school and it is to make a collection of 6 mini-games for Gleaners Food Bank. It is a non-profit and the game will not be sold but given away to kids at workshops. Would I be able to contact remix composers to get permission to use a song (I'm thinking happy Bubble Bobble like music)? Is there a generic license that applies to all ocremix songs that would allow non-profit re-use? Thanks for any info. I did read the Content Policy, but I just want to be sure I understand it in simple terms.
Rozovian
Can't answer your question, but you could just ask for brand new music (recruit here). There's lots of composers here that wouldn't mind getting a couple more games on their rap sheets. Just make sure to get a clear idea of what you want (soundwise, stylewise, moodwise, etc) and communicate it clearly to the prospective composers.
