Drawnder
Wanted to remix the postgame-lose music of Outrun 2019. I am quite new at this, so any advice I can get is good advise. Remix Here Original one I'm trying to go for a hip hop kind of flavor.
Hidan
Dude, your beat is good but I think the instruments you chose does not flow well, I mean, looks like one instrument starts out of place, mainly after 1:15. Just my opnion, though. Better wait other people to comment your remix to describe more well than me if this is what I told you is really a problem. =P
DjMystix
This is my favorite track from one of my favorite videogame music of all time. I usually never say this but I am not happy at all with this mix. I can't give you any advise other than that you should restart the whole idea from step 0. If you want to do hip hop and aren't familiar with the genre, listen to a few popular songs before attempting it. Or even better, try to redo your song with an inspiration from your favorite hip-hop song. Just boldly copy every instrument, rhythm etc. By the time you finish, hopefully you'll know what it takes to create a hip hop song. Hope to hear a redone track from you. Also hoping you don't mind what I said above (sorry if you do). Best of luck!
redtails
I'll have to agree with above reaction. I think Outrun generally has good songs and good rhythms, but you're not really good at this right now. Especially after 1:21 this remix goes downhill with the out-of-beat semi-rhythm instruments. I'd especially say you didn't get the essence of the melody into your remix Of course you can improve, but I don't think it'd be wise to use this song to improve. There's potential out there. Start fresh, start anew with a new beat and a new project. It'll clear your mind
