Most of you looking at this might be familiar with my songs, and my tendency to just ask for things to tweak. But not this time. This time it's a real remix. I still don't intend on submitting it to OCR, but it's still a ReMix and i'd really like some constructive criticism and things to change about this song. As with my others, the foundation is pretty much set in stone, but I'm much more open to changes in it. I'm also not done with doing my own stuff, so keep that in mind. Please let me know what you think!

EDIT FOR VERSION 3: Well I changed a bit of the mix, but I haven't added break or anything, yet, nor have I added another backing instrument for the bridge, yet. I also added a backup sound effect throughout the track, but it got louder in compression, and I think it sounds out-of-place. Should I turn it down more, or should I get rid of it completely?

Yay, this is getting some recognition(I remixed this before, you can find it on my youtube channel)!

I don't like the samples in here, they have this odd grating side to them. The melody itself is incredibly repetitive too, and rather flat. The second part to the song is rather undermixed. The ending was rather sudden, as well. Why wasn't in this in the "Post your remixes" section, btdubs? is there any reason for it?

Anyway, could you be more specific about "grating"? All the synths sound grating, or one in particular, or what? And how might you suggest I fix it? And I realize it's very repetitive, that was my intention. I'm not totally familiar with techno music, or electronica and the like. I'm just learning, so I'm not familiar with the genres and such, but I believe this is house. I could be totally wrong, though XD. I know it's a certain genre, but I could be wrong about which one.

It's definitely house. And it's not the synths, it's the percussion. Your hihat is weird sounding.

Could you also clarify what you mean by the "second part"? Do you mean the second half of the song after the loop, or the bridge of the song?

incredibly repetitive, not bad sound, you just need to throw in a break or melody or something after a few repeats.
