SonicThHedgog
Just wondering, Even when I resample for quick one shot synths for complextro stuff, these monsters take up 13% of my cpu for writting Midi, or playing low note sounds.or could it be the pc im on currently. (the pc im on is fairly old. my main pc is getting patched up when I get my mail in) But for any other synth I have it does not even to that much cpu, not absynth, not fm8, and sylenth 1. I dont get it.
ectogemia
I've got a pretty powerful computer that I built just a couple of months ago, and holding a single low note on the init patch in Massive takes me up to 10% CPU usage.
SenPi
I don't know. All I know is that I can run a bunch of instances of massive all playing stuff and my cpu is fine :S
Yoozer
Sylenth's structure is far less complex and FM8 is old, because it's a repackaged FM7 which had to run on positively ancient systems. Massive renders voices in groups of four or so, thought I read that in an interview or so.
