I feel that due to genre and similar instruments, it comes a little too close to the original. It's a good start, but you could really expand. The first 2.5 minutes sound almost exactly like the original, but that instrumentation and drama you achieve between 2:20 and 2:50 definitely gives it hope. Not bad at all, especially with a more obscure song from a more modern game.
