King Kayle
The source tune seems to be a fan favourite among the Youtube remixing community, most people however had stuck cripplingly close to the original, so i thought throwing it into the abyss of dance/electro might be 'fresh and new' Just check it out if you please http://soundcloud.com/king-kayle/pokemon-mystery-dungeon-hidden
eilios
You sure like reverb, don't you? I feel like there's too much going on in this remix.
timaeus222
I feel like the snare's really lacking the punch. Try layering a low end to it. The reverb is a bit much on the panned synths. Try making them slightly more legato instead. Also, try thinking about what fits and what doesn't. Take out any unnecessary instruments that wouldn't make a difference if they weren't there. For example, if an instrument can't be heard, why have it there to clog up the frequency spectrum? Your remix is really heavy in the mids. The bass frequencies are really only occupied by the kick, and it's really intense in a slightly bad but not so demeaning way. Try EQing this song more. Add a bass to be sidechained, then fix the EQ on the kick just a bit so it isn't giving anything lower than a frequency of 63 Hz. A kick would best work through a notch filter if you want it to be heard. The last thing I feel needs to be fixed is the repetitiveness. Try to have a feel for where your song's going. Plan out what you want to be your intro, body, A section, B section, and outtro. That might help.
