theshaggyfreak
Without going into a huge long story, I've decided to switch to Vienna Symphonic. So, I'm selling my copy of EWQLSO Gold + Close mics for $300 + $75 for the iLok transfer fees. Even at that price, it's a lot cheaper than what it usually costs. I got a deal on things during the holiday season and I'm just trying to get back most of the money I put into it. I'll even cover the cost of shipping the DVDs to you. Payment can be made via Paypal. Feel free to let me know if you're interesting by private message or by e-mail me at shaggy@zoiks.org.
Kanthos
Not to cause any issues, but are you allowed to transfer the licenses for EWQL? I'm asking because I'm attempting to sell my EWQL products too, and I don't think you can transfer the licenses. You could turn over your iLok account and everything you have on the key, but that'd be about all you could do, and there'd be no way to retain other licenses you also have on the iLok. Good luck, though! Hope you manage to sell!
dannthr
With permission from the licensor, you can transfer your iLok licenses using the License Transfer Feature of the iLok website. The transfer fee is about 25 bucks per license.
theshaggyfreak
Hrm. Didn't even think to check that since I've never had problems transferring licenses off my iLok before. *sigh* The only thing I really could do is buy a 2nd iLok and put those license onto it to give someone else but that iLok would still be tied to my account. Oh well. Guess I'll just have to keep it.

I just haven't had much fun dealing with them and thinking about it gives me a headache. I'll ask and see what happens.

I don't know the circumstances involved in this approval process, but I have seen people who have been approved.

Well, I just heard back from someone in their licensing department and this is what he told me: "Hey William, The only possible way to transfer the license is if the account being transfered to is also owned by your name. Regards, Joey Medina" So, it seems I'm being denied.
Legion303
So you can only sell it to yourself? That's awesome!
theshaggyfreak
So, it looks like I am indeed holding on to the software but the situation has taken an interesting turn. I'm updating the thread with my original issue with EWQLSO now and you can follow up on that here if you wish: http://ocremix.org/forums/showthread.php?t=38745
