Problem capturing multi-track keyboard song into Audacity

Question: Are there any known difficulties or issues recording a song from a Yamaha keyboard that was recorded on multiple tracks, subsequently captured by Audacity through the earphone jack?

I am using Audacity 2.0.3, Yamaha Keyboard DGX305 & Windows 7. Recording method - used earphone jack from keyboard for audio capture with a connecting audio cable to line in on my PC. I retrieved the data using the freeware program Audacity. The song was created on the keyboard using 5 tracks and the Accompanyment Track.

The vocal artist determined that the Accompanyment track was not compatible with the song, so I suppressed the Accompanyment Track prior to capture. I recorded the song while monitoring the recording and the track was suppressed. I saved the track and exported it to an mp3 file. This required update of the Lame .dll file (v3.99.3). The suppressed track appeared on the mp3 file. Next I deleted the Accompanyment Track and and while monitoring re-recorded the song. The Accompanyment Track is still there.

My original thought was that the midi data and multiple track issues would be irrelevant since I was capturing through the earphone jack. Are there some missing steps I should be taking to get a clean capture?
