Has Anyone Ever Used CD Baby's Physical Distribution?

It says on their website that they just need about 6 CDs for various things and. . . That's it? I just wonder how the supply and demand system works and I can't find it written out in detail anywhere. Do they ask me to have a bunch printed and sent to them when they run out of stock or do they just wait for an order and then have it printed themselves?

I guess I'll find out sooner or later but if you know, I would greatly appreciate hearing what you know. Thank you very much!

I used it when ESPERS was on Aardvark Records and apart from them using low-quality 30 second samples of the least interesting 30 seconds of the tracks, I have zero to complain about. They were pretty good. Kinda wish I was still on it.

I have never used their physical, but obviously they have been really trustworthy and really great with digital for me.

I would like to know someone else's experience with physical distribution, though, as I may be planning to do so at some point. I'm glad that so far I'm hearing some good stuff.

Other than just pay for it and send them 5-6 CDs, I don't remember anything else I had to do.

I've used them in the past without any problems. Once they sell those 5-6 CDs that yo initially send them, you then will send them more and this time a larger batch. They only have so much room in their warehouse after all.

Sell those 5-6 CDs? I thought they took CDRs.
