Synth
I found a Acoustic guitar in my closet which is about 50 years old. I know nothing about acoustics. Its head looks like that of a classical/flamenco, but its bridge is that of an normal acoustic. Is it ok to put nylon strings on it? or does it have to be normal acoustic strings? And it needs a bridge replacement, but I can't find anywhere to buy one, anyone know where?
Legion303
Is it ok to put nylon strings on it? They won't damage it, if that's what you mean. Throw some on and make sure they don't buzz. And it needs a bridge replacement, but I can't find anywhere to buy one, anyone know where? Look up "guitar repair" in the yellow pages. -steve
Jens Wulvik
If I where you, I would take it to the nearest instrument dealer, and get some help there.
